Jin continues to avoid looking at Taehyung, his focus fixated on the deepening red hue of the water in the tub since he had fallen asleep. With a hint of frustration, he questions, "Why have you come here?"

"I am here because we need to have a conversation. I have been attempting to reach out to you, assuming that you needed space. I let you be. We both required time to think about what happened," Taehyung responds.

Jin finally glances at Taehyung and manages a smile. "So, what is your decision? Are you here to declare that you are abandoning me without any ambiguity? Please, go ahead and do it. I am ready to listen," he says, his ears attentive.

Taehyung is now understanding the situation. He acknowledges his own mistake in assuming that Seokjin would react in a rational manner. "Step out of the water, clean yourself, and then we can talk," Taehyung instructs, his eyes widening at the sight of blood. "I do not wish to leave. Let me stay here while you go on with your life. I will not hold you back," Jin responds, determined to remain in the water despite his weakened state.

Upon hearing Jin's words, Taehyung snaps. "Are you even listening to yourself? Get up," he commands, but Seokjin's frail condition prevents any response. Taehyung gently holds Jin, yet the omega remains resolute, refusing to leave the water.

Taehyung questions, "Is this wine, Seokjin?" He continues, "Does this smell or appear to be wine to you, Taehyung? Are you that oblivious, or do you simply refuse to believe that I have miscarried our child?"

Taehyung's breath catches, and he suppresses the urge to cry. He grasps Jin's arm and urges him to stand up, pleading, "Please, get up." However, Seokjin remains motionless. Taehyung questions, "What does it mean to you? Let me stay."

He gives up and decides to wait patiently as an hour passes before Seokjin finally drifts off to sleep. Taehyung ensures that Jin is asleep before draining the water, his heart skipping a beat. This moment will forever be etched vividly in Taehyung's memory. He gently washes Seokjin with warm water, carefully lifting the omega out of the tub and dressing him in cozy clothes. Swiftly, he changes the bed sheets and lays him down, stretching his neck and removing his shirt, leaving it beside the omega's pillow.

Next, he calls Jimin and thoroughly cleans the entire apartment, meticulously removing cigarette butts, alcohol bottles, and sleeping pills. These remnants provide evidence as to why Seokjin likely suffered a miscarriage, along with his absence. While mopping, Taehyung discovers the shattered phone in a corner. By that time, Jimin has joined him and is assisting in the kitchen. "I bought so many groceries, but he hardly touched any," Jimin informs Taehyung. "Do you realize the impact of your actions on him? You're out of control. This is deeply disturbing."

"I was only giving him space, okay? I had no idea his self-destructive tendencies had escalated to this extent. You should have seen him, sitting in the bathtub, soaking himself in bloodied water," Taehyung's voice trembles. "You can't solely blame me for all of this."

"The moment you begin to realize the extent of the damage you have caused is the same moment when Seokjin will start to recover. Yes, it is true that he willingly subjected himself to this situation, but we can not ignore the fact that your actions only contributed to his suffering and pain,"

Taehyung  questions Jimin, "Weren't you and Jungkook involved in a friend's benefits relationship for a long time? And didn't he have other partners as well? On the other hand, I never sought anyone else but him. Did you bring all of this nonsense on yourself?"

Jimin lets out a sigh. "Taehyung, listen. You need to understand that Seokjin loves you, even though he may not have a strong mind. Obviously, no one desires such a lifestyle for themselves, but this is where he has found peace. I'm asking you to understand his situation and do whatever it takes to fix this, even if it seems nearly impossible to repair at the moment, and on top of that, you mated him. I swear i will burn you alive if you refuse to take responsibility for that." he concludes, returning to his work.

By the time the kitchen and apartment were finished, dawn was approaching. "What do you plan to do now?" Jimin inquires. "I will ask him to move in with me, as I had originally intended," Taehyung rubs his temples. "I'm leaving now. Jungkook is here to pick me up. Call me if you need anything or any help."

Once Jimin leaves, Taehyung joins Jin in bed. "When will you wake up?" he softly traces Jin's face. His gaze then shifts to Jin's flat belly and his mating mark, prompting him to bring his omega closer so he can attend to it. In doing so, he eventually drifts off to sleep as well.

Jin is the first one to wake up the next morning. He discovers Taehyung embracing him tightly, and to his surprise, his mating mark is not throbbing for the first time. Jin wriggles in an attempt to break free from Taehyung's grasp. However, his movements awaken the alpha. "Leave me alone, Taehyung. Do not speak to me," Jin asserts before Taehyung can even get up. Jin hurries into the bathroom and finds it spotless. He shoots Taehyung a glare. "Why did you drain the water?" he shouts. "Who do you think you are?"

Taehyung is taken aback by the yelling, and he promptly gets up to approach Jin. He pulls the omega closer to him. "I apologize for putting you through that."

This response catches Seokjin off guard. He had anticipated the alpha to offer an explanation or an excuse. Sensing the omega's body tensing in his arms, Taehyung suggests, "Let's go have breakfast."

"I'm not in the mood to eat," Jin replies, distancing himself from Taehyung. "Then watch me eat because I'm hungry." Taehyung takes Jin's hands once more and begins to prepare the meal.

"My mother always makes this for me when I visit home. I really enjoy it. It's spicy tofu and egg." Taehyung serves the breakfast and starts eating. Jin gazes at the alpha in confusion. "Here, try it," he offers a spoonful to Jin. Initially repulsed, Jin hesitates but not wanting to reject the dish important to Taehyung. He takes a bite and observes Taehyung eat. Jin stares long enough for Taehyung to realize he wants another bite. "Here."

After breakfast, he observes Taehyung, placing the used dishes in the dishwasher. "Did you clean everything by yourself?" Jin inquires. Taehyung glances up briefly and responds, "Yes, Jimin came by to assist." Jin recalls how he had turned Jimin away when he had come to check on him.

"Tell me now, Taehyung, why did you come here?" They were back to square one. Taehyung dries his hands on the apron and says, "I want us to move in together." Jin's head snaps towards Taehyung upon hearing this. "Are you even listening to yourself? You don't have to do this just for the sake of the mating mark."

"I'm not doing this for the sake of your mating mark. You're my responsibility now. I made a mistake -" Jin abruptly stands up before Taehyung can finish speaking. "Leave my apartment immediately. I free you from all the so-called responsibilities. You don't need to make up for your mistakes, nor do you owe me an apology."

"Why are you so insistent on sending me away? Have you lost your mind?" Taehyung's voice rises slightly. "I witnessed yesterday what you did to yourself in the past two weeks, and I can't afford you dying here and being discovered with my mark on you. I won't put myself in that position or let you jeopardize my career."

Jin chuckles at Taehyung's words. "I was wondering why you were being so kind to me, but now it all makes sense. I'll burn myself so that no one finds my body with your mark. So don't worry, you can go enjoy your omega, I will be careful."
