TW: mentions of vomiting
Taylor's POV:
"It would be easier if you just worked WITH me!" He says, while staring right into my eyes before continuing to slam his length into me, as roughly as always.
"You're hurting me!"
"You're such a baby!" Joe mocks me, not stopping his irregular movements, now and then a moan escaping his lips. Once again I try to push him off, but unfortunately I don't stand a chance, so I just lie there, praying.
Some would think I should be used to it by now, truth is, you never get used to it, not even after the millionths time. It's Summer, the middle of June to be exact and nothing has changed. Every day is the same and I lost count of the amount of times Joe has hurt me, or worse, forced himself onto me. It's true to say that I'm a wreck, maybe even at rock bottom, but I stopped fighting him. I stopped opening my mouth trying to change his mind. I honestly thought I could fix him, us, but I don't think I can, really not.
After he is done, I pull the covers over my naked body and turn around, since it was was way past midnight and I was sound asleep when the actor started touching me.
Slowly but carefully the tears come creeping into my eyes and I just let them fall down my cheeks. Usually I'd run to the shower after those events but I'm just too exhausted to do so.
I don't find any sleep for the rest of the night, my mind way too occupied with tons of terrible thoughts until the sun starts to rise at 5am the next morning and I roll out of bed, extremely tired.A few hours pass until I hear the doorbell ring while also hearing footsteps coming down the stairs. Immediately I head towards the front door, unsure of who might be standing on the other side. I push my doubts aside and open it.
"Good morning!!! Oh my god it's so nice to see you! I hope I didn't wake you?" Melissa, a good friend of mine, squeals.
"H...hey, oh my god, it's been so long. What are you doing here in London?" I ask, trying to match her excitement, which is quite hard considering the lack of sleep and the current circumstances.
"I got a movie premiere tonight. I thought I'd pay you a visit." The Blonde offers me a warm smile. "Can I come in?"
"Right...yes, I'm sorry." I move aside to let her pass through. I close the door and follow her into the living room, where she makes herself comfortable on the sofa. That's when my boyfriend enters the room.
"Woah...hey Melissa, how you been?" He greets her, putting on his best manners.
"Good, good....and you two, still heavenly in love?" The actress wants to know, raising one of her eyebrows.
Joe walks up to me and gently slides his arm around my shoulder, squeezing it tightly as if he is trying to tell me to just play along."You bet! She is the love of my life. Honestly I couldn't be happier to
have her by my side." He answers the question while I'm trying to force myself to smile and nod in agreement."I see, well I'm beyond happy for you guys. You finally found your prince charming, Tay."
Melissa winks but I just drop my eyes to the floor, not having the strength to play any more pretend."You want a coffee or something?" I try to drift away from the current subject. "Tea?"
The blonde nods and I shift myself out of Joe's arms, before heading to the kitchen.
"There you go." I place the mug on the table in front of her where she gratefully grabs it and blows, trying to cool it down before taking a first sip.
"If you'll excuse me, I have to leave for work. It was nice seeing you, Mel." Joe pecks my cheek and then his mouth reaches for my ear. "Don't. Say. A. Word. Or you will pay the price." The man whispers through gritted teeth before smiling at Melissa one last time and stepping out the door.
I plant myself next to my friend."Did he seem off to you?" I dare to ask after a few seconds of silence.
The blonde turns to face me with a confused look on her face. "Who, Joe? Nah, he was normal, I guess? The way I know him. Why?"
I shrug my shoulders because I don't really want to go into any details but the actress doesn't seem to let it go.
"You can tell me about it." She suggests."I don't even know, Melissa. It's just...nevermind, I'm probably overthinking." I shake my head, meet her eyes and smile, a smile that doesn't quite reach my eyes. Before the girl can say anything else I feel a wave of nausea hit me.
What the hell?
"I'm gonna use the-" My sentence is interrupted as I feel the saliva gather inside of my mouth. Quickly I cover my mouth with my hand and rush to the bathroom. Luckily we have one downstairs as well because I don't think I would have made it all the way up the stairs. Just in time I kneel in front of the toilet before throwing up.A/N: Well, well, well...
In case anybody's wondering what Melissa looks like:
P.S. She's in fact an actress. You may know her from the Netflix Series Manifest. I don't think her and Taylor know each other irl but here they do ☺️
