A night market?
Megumi's date idea was a night market, one in which they sold lots of delicious treats and when the clock hit 12, some fireworks would boom. It was 10 pm.
"I've never been to a night market megumi, this is such a different environment from the city!" Y/n's eyes reflected all the colors that were seen in front of her.
The place was adorned with red lanterns and many yellow light bulbs. There were different canopy's set up, each stand sold different types of food and activities you could do.
"Let's go explore, tell me if you want to eat anything," he held her hand and guided her through the big crowd, he made sure to point out the many food options.
"I want some Onigiris, those look super yummy!" Y/n pointed to some rice balls that were crispy and fried and Megumi quickly bought her two.
"I'm letting go of your hand so you can eat it, not because of anything else," Megumi said before un - intertwining their fingers. He handed her the rice balls and she began eating them while looking at some other stand.
"Bracelets! Rings! Jewelry! All at a great price!" A mans voice was heard from the left side and Megumi was interested as soon as the man said bracelets, he wanted to buy Y/n some nice jewelry she could wear.
"I want to go there," Megumi pointed to the stand, "he's selling jewelry."
"I never knew you were so into jewelry Megumi, boys like jewelry more than girls these days," Y/n laughed a little in the end, not knowing that the boy wanted to buy it for her.
The man was selling rings, bracelets, necklaces and more. He had couple pieces and birthstones. "I like that ring," Y/n suddenly said.
"Why that one?"
"Because it's the color of your eyes, and I think they are pretty."

It was the end of the night market. Y/n and Megumi were super full and had lots of trinkets with them. Many plushies and lots of extra snacks that Y/n found cool.
"Megumi," Y/n called the boy who turned to look at her with the eyes she liked so much, "back at the jewelry vendor I bought you this," she pulled out a silver ring with a pink diamond in the middle.
"I saw you looking at it, I thought you were going to buy it," she said shyly, she was embarrassed to admit that she was examining all the little oh details about him.
"I was going to get that for you...." He admitted.
"I'm so stupid! I thought you wanted it for yourself. Do you still want it or....?"
He took the ring from her hand and put it on his ring finger, "of course I want it. Why would I decline a gift from you."
Megumi's smile seemed more charming that night.
This is a short filler chapter, the story will get more interesting now...I hope.
