2 years later

Heels clacking against the white tile floor of the hospital were heard. The atmosphere felt cold, as in the temperature, the environment not so much.

This was the place where Y/n had been working in while studying. As a smart and intelligent girl, she got her doctor's license in a year just like her sister. Just like her sister...but she didn't cheat!

Graduated top of her school, the youngest, and the prettiest, she could practically get a job everywhere. After quitting Jujutsu Tech, she began to work on herself in every way possible. She worked out when she was stressed, studied at least a week prior to an exam, and never missed anything in her schedule.

'Class @ 9am, study @ 12pm, gym @ 5pm...'

She had turn to somewhat of a workaholic that wanted everything to be perfect.

Oh right! I was talking about how she's heading somewhere in the hospital! Y/n was holding papers in her hand and heading straight to her bosses office. She looked at her watch as it vibrated and sent a notification, 'submit resignation letter.'

She surprised herself with this desicion but ultimately gave in because she wanted to go back to Jujutsu high. The pay and the environment were the top reasons.

She also wanted to see him again. But would he want to see her? That is the question she asked herself every-time.

"You're quitting? Why?"

Her boss looker at her in disbelief. He read over the papers again and again while Y/n just looked to the side ready for him to say goodbye or something along those lines. She couldn't explain how she needed to go back and help other people save the world, she would be the one in the hospital for acting crazy.

"I have somewhere I need to be."

"Isn't the weather nice today Megumi?"

It was a sunny day in Jujutsu High, 19 year old Megumi was standing next to Gojo who still looked younger than ever. As he graduated, he decided to be a full time sorcerer while Nobara and Yuji became more like teachers.

"It's alright, I wish it was raining so my mission would get postponed," Megumi sighed and looked up at the sunny sky, wishing it was pouring.

"You can't say things like that! It's unethical!"

Megumi just rolled his eyes and walked towards a vending machine to get a drink and a snack. He had grown taller, his hair was not that crazy anymore because he trimmed it from time to time. Hie eyelashes were still as luscious as ever and his eyes as pretty as they have always been. Every-time he looked in the mirror and realized he had changed a-lot in two years, he wondered if she had also changed.

As Megumi changed from the outside, he wanted to change from the inside too. He wanted to change and redirect his feelings somewhere else, to someone else. He wanted to stop thinking about Y/n. He went on multiple blind dates Gojo had helped him get and even asked for girls numbers here and so but he quickly realized that no one will ever compare to his first and only love.

He thought he was cursed. Cursed because the only thing on his mind was her. His mind told him to stop clinging to the past but his heart clanged to it.

As he pressed the button to get a drink, a phone rang. He dug into his pocket and reached for his phone only to realize no one was calling him, it was coming from Gojo's phone. Megumi started walking back to the group who was sitting by a tree now and watched Gojo's face expressions change from serious to happy...?

Thinking it was just normal Gojo actions, he ignored his behavior and told the crew goodbye while waving his hand because he had a mission to get to.

"So Y/n, what made you want to come back and work here?"

There was multiple answers for that question but Y/n knew she couldn't say "oh I came back for the love of my life!"

So she said, "I was getting underpaid at my job and knew I mattered more here than there." She folded her arms and looked out the window, hoping to catch a glimpse of the boy she wanted to see dearly.

She knew she was ironic and a hypocrite for wanting the love she rejected back then but everyone has their own red flags to themselves.

"Well you do know I'll pay you a-lot here but look, you'd get paid like triple or even more if you worked for the Jujutsu branch as a whole, you get me? Theres schools everywhere and you just want to work for one?"

"I don't want to be stressed Yaga-sensei," Y/n sighed and blew her hair out her face. She knew that if she took up the job he's offering she would be super busy and would not have time with her loved ones.

"Well, the least you can do is be like a resource available for the Jujutsu community as a whole, I'll tell the higher ups. You get paid a shit ton per mission you go to," Yaga-sensei got up and shook Y/n's hand as he smiled. He was glad to have her back.

"I don't want to wear this ugly uniform though!"

Later that night, two certain people had a fever and couldn't sleep.
