Johnny had a nice, relaxing Christmas with his family minus his mother. He knew that she was getting help and that it was better for everyone if they didn't see each other right now, but he still missed her. He had also heard about Chelsea's unwanted visit. God when would she get the hint? No one wanted her around.

The young boy was startled by his phone ringing. He didn't recognize the number, but something compelled him to answer. Deep down, Johnny knew who was on the other end. "Hello" He cautiously answered.

"Johnny, thank God you answered." A relieved Chelsea Lawson responded.

"I already regret it." The teenager quipped. "Say whatever it is you want to then never call me again."

Chelsea made an offended sound. Johnny could see her clutching her heart like she was in pain; he was rolling his eyes so hard he wouldn't be surprised if she could hear them. "Johnny, that hurt. That really hurts. I didn't do anything to deserve such harsh words." She whined.

"Oh, you haven't?" Now Johnny was offended. "So, you didn't drug and rape my father while throwing my mother's infertility in her face?" He angrily spat out. He'd heard all the stories; her victim act wasn't going to work on him. This anger had been festering under the skin for months just waiting for an opportunity to come out.

"Who... who told you that?" Chelsea nervously stammered. Why did her sons' fathers feel the need to vilify her? It wasn't like they were choir boys, Adam especially.

"My mother and father." Johnny responded.

"I'm your mother!" Chelsea screamed, still simmering from Connor's rejection.

"No, you're not!" Johnny screamed right back. "You're just some mean bitch who drugged and raped my father! Victoria Newman is my mother. You're nothing to me and you never will be."

Chelsea couldn't handle this outburst. "I gave birth to you. Almost died of hypothermia in the process."

"I wish you had." Johnny blurted out without emotion. The silence was deafening, but Johnny refused to apologize.

"Are you trying to hurt me? Because it's working." Chelsea finally asked. The rage in the young Abbott only grew.

"Me, me, me. Do you ever think of anyone other than yourself?" Johnny bluntly asked. "Have you ever once thought of what your selfish actions do to Connor? Or me? Did you honestly think I would never find out that I'm the product of rape? Do you know how devastated I was to find out that I only exist because you wanted to blackmail my dad?" That last question came out as a sob, more emotion than he wanted to give her but it couldn't be helped.

The only answer he got was more silence. Clearly Chelsea had never once thought about the impact of her actions. His mother was right; Chelsea was a selfish narcissist who was so trashy even Adam didn't deserve her. "I figured that would shut you up. Can't handle the truth, Chelsea?" He snapped like the moody teenager he was.

"Johnny, I..." Chelsea started before Johnny cut her off.

"Save it, I don't care. I said my peace. I'm done even giving you an ounce of thought. Goodbye."

The only sound Chelsea could hear was the dial tone. She broke down into deep, heaving sobs. With that one phone call, she knew that had lost Johnny forever. Once she regrouped, she would have to try even harder that she didn't lose Connor and Adam too.
