Ok so, Rhaenyra Targaryen is Youngest sibling to Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen. Viserys had betrothed/sold her off to the house Reed, so she would marry Lord Holland Reeds son, Jojen.
He and she both protested and when the word about Viserys dead came out Lord Reed caved in and had adopted her instead as the two had no intention on a relationship.
Daenerys had been gifted 4 dragon eggs, she was told that the years had turned them to stone so she sent the largest one to Rhaenyra. The castle of Reed was burnt down from a maid accidentally knocking over a lit candle. When the flames had gone out early in the morning, a white dragon, smaller than a mouse crawled out and onto Rhaenyra who laid on the dirt ground. She named him Aegon.
Over time Aegon grew bigger, really fast. He was still white, but had an unusual flame. When the word was spoken, he would rain a Purple flame.
