"Are you nervous? I'm nervous." Blake said as she looked out at the stage. It was the day of the talent show, and Rin and Blake were about to perform the play that they had been practicing for three weeks in drama.
"Not as nervous as ya, but I'm only nervous because dad ain't 'ere yet."
Blake looked back and kissed her forehead, "Don't worry, he said twenty minutes, and my mom is here, and anyway, we're third to go on, so we got plenty of time." Blake said, and Rin nodded.
At least Merle was here, and Daryl did say he would message her when he was off work, so she kept that in mind. He's never not shown up before to watch her perform, and Merle always had his phone out to record her performance for later or just to reminence in old memories.
Rin was getting more worried by the minute as the second talent was on stage, and Daryl had yet to show up. Just as Rin was about to break down, she felt a buzz in her pocket, "Oh shit..." She pulled out her phone, and once she saw the message, she couldn't be more relaxed and happy.

𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕, 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒊'𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒚𝒂 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒃𝒊𝒕, 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒍𝒖𝒄𝒌 𝒃𝒂𝒃𝒚 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍!Rin smiled and put her phone in her bag where her normal clothes are, she was wearing an old dress for the play. It was plaid, and the apron was blue. Her hair was in two braids.
Just as she walked near the large curtains, Blake saw her and smiled, "I spot your dad, he made it!" She said happily.
"Yeah, I know, now I just need to focus and not fuckin' mess up." Rin said. Now normal, she doesn't cuss, only when she was nervous, and right now, she was nervous, nervous to disappoint everyone if she messed up.
Rin was a very talented actress as she was a dancer, but she's never acted in front of people besides her teacher. She didn't have a problem with dance competitions as she's been doing it her whole life, but acting was completely different.
Blake looked at her with determination, "Baby, your not going to mess up, you're fucking talented, you're gonna kill it!" She said before kissing her on the lips.
Rin blushed at the action. Before she could do or say anything, the second talent was over, and it was now time for them to do their play. They were announced to come on stage, and what Rin saw was no different from the dance competitions. All these people were, were just parents of the kids who went here to watch talents.
Rin saw her father and uncle, with subtly she nodded at them, watching as they nodded back with smiles on their faces. Blake smiled at her mother and brother before the play was to start.
The whole performance was amazing to Daryl and Merle, the best they've seen Rin do. Though unknowingly to everyone in the crowd, there were acting agents and other acting teachers watching and wanting new talents in the industry.
The play couldn't have gone better, Rin had done great, and Blake had done great. Once the talent show ended, Rin and Blake went to find their parents after everyone exited the school.
"Dad! Uncle Merle! Did ya enjoy the play?" Rin asked as she hugged both Daryl and Merle.
"Yeah! Ya did great, girlie! Got it all on camera." Merle said.
