"Oh, Hi, guys. What are the chances of meeting you four here?"

My stomach drops at the sound of Lewis's voice. I close my eyes, hoping that when I open them he'll be magically gone.

"Hey mate" George says, standing up to do the stupid bro hug thing with his teammate. Liam reluctantly shakes Lewis's hand, Cameron also embraces him.

I sit back further in my chair, glaring at Lewis as he breaks away from Cameron and his eyes land on me.

What the hell, why the fuck is he even here?

"So what gives? It's unlike you not to invite me somewhere" Lewis says to George is a smug smile, his eyes glance over at me for a split second before they go back to George.

I'm shocked at his boldness. I'm half tempted to stand up and walk away from the table. If it wasn't for the fact that this restaurant has a strict no phones policy I'd be long gone, it's to allow any celebrities that come here to dine in peace without being on alert that someone might be taking their picture.

Lewis's hand rests on the back of my chair, as he crosses his ankles and talks to George.

He's pretending as if I didn't tell him about this dinner, I'm starting to feel like this is an episode straight out of twilight zone.

"I didn't think you'd want to, to be honest" George shrugs, his eyes glance at me for a second before looking back at Lewis. He doesn't want to say it, but it's clear that the reason for Lewis's lack of an invite was because of me.

"We're just getting dinner" Liam says

"Cool" Lewis says, his voice conveys anything but that "hey, mind if I crash it for a second"

He doesn't wait for an answer, grabbing an empty chair from the table beside us and pulling it up between me and Liam.

I get the feeling he's planning on staying for longer as he grabs the menu from my hands.

"Seeing as you're already sitting, does it even matter?" Liam spoke, failing to hide his annoyance.

Cameron covers her mouth, attempting to hide her laugh. At least one of us is finding this situation amusing.

"I'm just here to get the information on Red Bull" Lewis rests his elbows on the table and places his chin on top of his knuckles. He doesn't pull off the innocent look well with a wicked, smug smile covering his face.

"As if" I scoff "some peoples world doesn't revolve souly around racing"

"Well some peoples worlds don't revolve souly around tennis, oh, and how's that going for you Liam?" He says, looking over at Liam

"It's getting better" Liam says, running a hand through his hair "how's racing going for you. So sorry to hear about qualifying today"

Now I actually had to try and hide my smile. Lewis had qualified seventh on the grid for tomorrow's race, after the wind picked up just as he was going for his fastest lap.

"I'll still be racing for first, regardless of my staring position. By the way, Goodluck in that tournament next week, I'm sure you'll get lucky and make it to the quarter finals this time"

"I thought you were busy tonight?" George says, cutting through the growing tension at the table

"I was, I got bored and left" Lewis shrugs casually

George and Liam were both doing a terrible job at hiding how much they wanted him to leave. As much as George loved Lewis, he also read to headlines and knew that Lewis and I have never tried to hide our dislike of one another.

"You're half Italian right, what part?" He says, actually so causal that it pissed me off, it pisses me off further as he moves in his seat, turning his back on Liam.

"Milan" I said through gritted teeth. I look past him and at Liam, looking for a way out.

"You speak Italian fluently don't you?" Liam asks. Thank you Liam!

"Yeah, Daniel doesn't though, he speaks a bit but not fluently" he say, I swear I can feel Lewis tense beside me as I mention my brother.

We continue on with our dinner. Lewis orders something to eat when our entrees come out. Liam and George continued talking about something to do with England, Cameron and me discuss a few different topics, fashion, travelling the world, she had a lot of questions about tennis as well, apparently her and her family are all into it. At some point throughout the night Lewis brought his arm to rest on the back of my chair, leaving it there until we eventually decided to leave.

George insists on taking care of the cheque. As much as it's a nice thing to do, I probably should have been the one to, I make twice as much money as him a year and after all, I have just signed a 9 digit deal with Netflix.

"We'll have to do this again some time" Liam smiled as we walked through the restaurant towards the back exit. Apparently the amount of people outside had tripled since us five were spotted coming in here, so the manager agreed to let our cars drive in where the deliveries usually come in so we won't be spotted.

"Un - fucking - likely" Lewis muttered under his breath, loud enough that only I could hear.

He took the words right out of my mouth. Yes it was not a total waste of time, but I've had enough social interaction to do me for the next year.

Cameron hugs me goodbye, I awkwardly stand there and force a smile out. I'm no good at this shit.

We say our goodbyes, and me and Liam get into the back of our car.

I pull the door close, but a hand grabs it before I can.

"Scoot over darling, we're in the same hotel, might as well save petrol and get the same car" Lewis says with a smile.

I roll my eyes, but move over into the middle seat, Lewis climbs in beside me.

The driver waits until the doors closed before driving on. Thank god for tinted windows

Well.
