Drop-zone

Carribean Sea

The Bioship was quiet as we flew through the air. Everyone just sat in their thoughts preparing for the mission ahead. "We're approaching Santa Prisca." This took me back to the mission briefing we had with Batman earlier that night.

"Isla Santa Prisca. This Island nation is the primary source of a dangerous  and illegal neo-steroid0, a steroid enhancing drug sold under street name 'venom'." Multiple pictures were alternating on the screen as Batman explained the context of our mission.

The supply going out of the Island had stopped even though they were manufacturing at full capacity. He needed us to go in and find out why . "This is a covert mission only. Observe and report. If the Justice League needs to intervene, it will. The plan requires two drop zones."

Robin piped up, "So who's in charge?" Batman and Red Tornado looked at each other, silently agreeing. "Work that out between you." I just knew Robin wanted to take the lead, I just hoped he didn't get too ahead of himself.

"Drop-zone A in 30." M'gann said bringing me back to the present. Aqualad stood up for his dropoff point. He's usual red suit now a stealth black. M'gann put the ship in camouflage the closer we got to avoid anyone know we were there.

The boy jumped out, leaving the rest of us in the ship. Aqualad disabled the security system on the island too ensure we weren't detected, even in camouflage mode.

"Drop zone B." That's us. I double tapped the 'S' on my suit causing the usually bright blues and yellows to turn to a dark black color, leaving only the reds. Batman had installed these new stealth mode features a while back and we'd finally get to use them.

"How cool is this?" Wally asked us.

"Very impressive." M'gann said. She changed into her suit too. It was amazing to say the least, and Wally gawked.

"Wally, you're drooling." I laughed at the boys sillines. He was totally crushing on her.
"Shut up." He said looking away. "Hey Supey, it's not too late to put on the new stealth tech."

Superboy looked away. "No capes, no tights. No offense." I'm guessing that was a direct shot at Superman's costume.

"It totally works for you." M'gann said with adoring eyes."In that you can totally do good work in those clothes."

"Nice save." I whispered to her. We all dropped down from the ship into the dense forest we'd be navigating. I got on comms with Aqualad. "Aqualad, drop B is go."

"Head for the factory. I'll track your gps and rendezvous ASAP." He said.

"Go it. Stay safe." We all took off in the direction of the factory, M'gann and I flying as to reduce the number of foot noises on the ground.

After a while we started getting closer to their camp. We started slowing down a bit when I heard some rustling in the distance. Superboy seemed to have heard it too.

"Did you hear that?" He asked looking at me. I nodded preparing myself in case we had to fight.

"Wait, is this like a super hearing thing?" Wally asked.

"You do have great ears." Miss Martian said looking at Superboy.

"Ok Robin, what's next?" I asked turning to where the boy was standing 2 seconds ago. He had disappeared again. Gosh, you'd think our leader would actually lead this mission.

"Man, I hate when he does that." Wally said annoyed.

"Astria, Superboy, switch to inferred and see if you're being tracked." Aqualad said through the comms.
