The tunnel was dark, it smelt like it hadn't been cleaned in a few years and the moisture and heat didn't do it any favors. The only thing I could be thankful for was the suit I wore. It blended perfectly with the darkness and the mask allowed me to keep my face hidden.

"Y/n. Are you in position?" A voice asked in the comms."Yeah. I'm in position. This sector is clear."

The construction above me only served as background noise as different thoughts ran through my mind. I had no doubt about this mission but I was still hesitant. Thinking back to the life I had a year ago. Thinking back to Dick. My thoughts were cut short by Kaldur on the comms."Head to ground zero. We have company." I grabbed a few explosives from my utility belt and secured them to the tunnel walls as I ran to ground zero. We had ten minutes before everything went up in smoke. I heard one big explosion coming from above me. 'What the heck is going on up there?'

I finally got to ground level to see a number of our troops being taken down by the Justice League and a few new recruits. "Deploy the. spider bots." I said into the comms. An explosion brought down a walk way above us, three more were gone. I ran towards Lagoon Boy, Aquaman's new sidekick and blasted him before throwing him across the room.

"Manta to Lark. The bomb is engaged. We have 5 minutes to get out." Kaldur said to me.

"Ok, on my way." We started to retreat back to the ship we came with. I noticed Superman, Superboy and Wonderwoman coming through a separate opening in the mountain.

"Three minutes to departure." He said before getting knocked to the ground by Aquaman. I helped him up as we faced him, Lagoon Boy and Superboy.

I glared at the three as they looked at us in shock. "I had not believed Nightwing until this moment." Aquaman said in disbelief.

"You did not want to believe." Kaldur responded.

"Non of us wanted to believe this." Superboy added in anger. He turned to me a look of sadness and betrayal crossing his features. I hated that look. "How could you two betray us?"

"How dare you question us when you know exactly why?" I yelled. Kaldur formed swords with his water and held them up as Nightwing dropped from above and landed before us.

My heart raced when I saw him. "That was a mission. Aquagirl knew the risks. No one wanted her to—"

"Neptunes beard. Don't coddle this traitor. He's joined forces with our kings greatest enemy." Lagoon boy interrupted.

"You mean the king that hid the true identity of my father?" Kaldur yelled.

Aquaman sighed looking remorseful. "That was my error in judgement, Kaldur'ahm. No one else needs to suffer for it."

I smirked beneath my mask, "All will suffer if Black Manta demands it." I raised a boulder and threw it at them. Superman shattered it causing the pieces to scatter and create a cloud of dust. In this cover, Kaldur and I took off to the ship.

I let out a breath once we got there but turned when a voice called my name from the darkness. "Two on one doesn't seem fair. I thought you were smarter than that Dick."

"No! It's a regular reunion special." Superboy came through from the tunnel we had. Kaldur and I stood back to back.

"Fine. You can take us down. Or you can save everyone from this bomb. I am told the yield is quite impressive." Kaldur said as he gestured to the device on the rock wall.

Suddenly, Conner ran at me but I elbowed him and choke slammed him to the ground before sending a few watts of electricity into him. "You have two minutes." I said before giving him a wink. Kaldur and I got into the ship and left.
