The warmth of the sun on my skin made me smile as my feet hit the beach sand. We'd decided to take the day to relax and have fun at the beach, seeing as the cave was right next it.

I wore a white two piece bikini and covered my lower half with a matching cover up skirt. The rest of the team were dressed in swimming attire as well. Unfortunately Wally couldn't join us because he had school to go to.

"Hello Megan. We should come to the beach everyday." The Martian beamed.

My lips curved into a smile, "Yeah, I wonder why we haven't been down here. It's so nice." I set down the basket of food M'gann and I prepared for the day and put down a beach towel.

We all ran into the sea to swim and surf and just generally have fun together. I noticed Superboy looking out in the distance and a devious smirk spread across my face. I cupped my hand, filling them with the salt sea water and splashed him in the face.

His face twisted in confusion as the excess water dripped off his hair. "You should see your face." I cackled, putting a hand on my belly. His confused face making it even funnier.

A bunch of water hit my face stopping my laughter. I looked up to see bright smile on his face, knowing he'd gotten his payback. "Oh it's on." We started splashing water at each other and soon enough the rest of the team joined in.

Laughter echoed out from us as we enjoyed the day. Conner and I actually started building a relationship recently and I actually felt like  we were siblings in this moment.

After a few hours we retreated to back to the cave and hung out until Red Tornado told us to get changed for a mission briefing.

Once ready we stood with Batman and Red Tornado. I noticed a new character standing adjacent to Red Tornado. She was a really pretty blonde and wore a green mission suit. Noticing the bow and quiver she carried my first assumption was that Batman found the owner of the mystery arrow from the Amazo Android mission we had a few days ago.

"Meet Artemis. She's Green Arrow's new protege and will be going the team from now on." Batman informed. We all introduced ourselves but before long Wally entered the cave, being announced by the automated system. Unfortunately for the speedster he made an incredibly embarrassing entrance by tripping over the beach items he brought in with him.

"Wall-man, huh?" Artemis questioned with a grin. "What's exactly are your powers?" A slight snotty tone to her voice.

"Uh, who's this?" Wally questioned as he walked up to us.

"Artemis, your new teammate." She introduced confidently. Wally obviously had to reply with some sass. I had a feeling these two would either be really good together or they'd burn the world to the ground to kill each other.

This was interrupted by Speedy entering the Cave. Speedy or should I say Red Arrow came in with the most attitude I've ever seen. They started arguing for a bit.

"We've always wanted you on the team. It's not too late." I reassured. His demeanor still didn't change. "You came to us for a reason, Roy."

"Yeah, a reason named Dr. Serling Roquette." Roy replied.

Robin lit up at the name, "Nanorobotics genius and clayronic expert at Star City." He pulled up her information and displayed it on the hologram screens. "She vanished 2 weeks ago."
