The team and I watched as our mentors and parents get annihilated in space. We were being invaded and they'd just taken out Earth's primary line of defense. Zatara appeared on the monitor. "Red Tornado. Did you—"

"Yes, Zatara. We saw." His mechanical voice said in somewhat of a saddened voice. "Celestial defenses have failed. Initiate all terrestrial measures."

"Affirmative. See you in the field."

Red Tornado turned to us. "I must join the League. We will protect the planet at all costs. But should we fail the responsibility falls to you."

Kaldur eyes scanned the team, "We stand ready."

"Red Tornado to Cave. I fear I am all that's left of the Justice League." The android said as we watched from the cave. We watched as all the heroes around the world were killed by the invaders, leaving us to be the ones to stop this.

"We are Earth's heroes now." Kaldur stated. His words held a grim meaning, knowing we would have to shoulder that burden.

"So what are we waiting for a theme song?" Conner questioned.

"A stragtegy. Earth's weapons are ineffective, and it has been made tragically clear that a direct attack will not succeed." Kaldur explained.

Robin got onto his computer, "Checking satellite imagery." He pulled up a globe and showed us where the aliens current were

"What's up with this— crap it's at my dad's Fortress of Solitude."

"Superman has a fortress of solitude?" Conner asked completely taken off guard.

"Yeah. There's a lot you don't know." I said shaking my head. "The aliens must have been attracted to the power source."

"We will target this lone ship." Kaldur announced.

"Yeah break it down. Build more. Hit those ugly aliens in their own mojo. Ow!" Wally said after getting elbowed by Artemis

"Martian and Kryptonites in the house." She reminded. I looked at him with a questioning yet amused look.

Wally chuckled awkwardly, "Not that all aliens are automatically ugly. Especially you Y/n." He said with a flirtatious expression.

The wind whistled as it blew past us, the snowy environment a harsh wasteland of white. The team's clothing blended seamlessly with the stark snowy white background with our now white stealth attire. M'gann flew above us in camouflage while Artemis hid behind the massive ice formations. M'gann took out the communications of the alien ship while Artemis shut the door with one of her foam arrows.

The ship started firing at random, probably in a panic at the sudden attack. Aqualad burst through the ice and landed on the spacecraft. I took this as my chance to jump in and I got a hold of the gun atop the ship.

Robin analysis it to get its structural details and hacked into it. M'gann destroyed the critical parts of it and I started pulling it apart. Wolf suddenly just towards me and pushed me out of the way and got zapped by one of the components of the weapon. "No."

"There was no indication of feedback. I'm sorry." Robin apologized.

"Can't do anything for him now." Conner said remaining stoic. Superboy jumped to where I was before and removed the weapon. He jumped onto the Bioship as M'gann began the integration of the weapon and the Bioship .

"Rerouting systems to integrate weapon into ship's bio-matrix. I need to de-camouflage for a few minutes." The martian worked on the Bioship but it was taking a bit longer than expected.
