This was one good thing about 2022, was the fact that I was going to the Ottawa titans games! This was my introduction to into viewing sports, before the special olympics and I was enjoying the game! Her is some thing that was weird ...... I was the first person in my group home for a record to get to foul balls in one summer. You know that balls that flight in the baseball loving crowd! I got the first one but sheer agility and being able flip like a dead fish on POF! And I got the first ball (or as I call them in public nerds) as I was going through the idea of getting the first foul ball of the year! I was on the big screen I remeber my friend Tammy telling me! I was oddly embarrassed but someone had to get that ball! And I remember that I had that little sphere signed by all the Ottawa titans and I fleet a high that drugs can not deal! It was the high of the drug of life! That being said! I was going to catch the second nerd in September, making house history! That little bastard I had everyone had my house to sign there names on! It was interesting to get the second foul ball and was screaming with excitement so loud that the other team was able to hear me! That was how excited i was!
So how do you detect a foul ball! Is that you have to have keen eyes and ears! That being said I was able to because of the hyper awareness that comes with PTSD, the only good thing about PTSD is that you can spot something good or bad from a mile! In this case I was able to catch two fouls in one summer! The the hyper awareness of PTSD are not as bad as the rest of the symptoms that are more aggreviating!
I still thing there are some good things about hyper awareness! Like the foul balls I also find that I am able to spot book that I always wanted from the reuse Center! That being said! I was able to find books that forever and a day wanted to read and buy but couldn't until I spot them at the corner of my eye!
Let me tell you once a hyper awareness can be your lucky charm and also I can say that it can save your life! That is why we have it! That being said with creativity I also am able to spot something at the bling of an eye! That is how I also go picking ( thrifting) either at response centers or in thrift stores!
That or my luck charm is working !
I don't know how I do it weather it be at a baseball game or at the reuse Center I am to find or catch stuff that know else can! It is a bit if a power and an annoyance ( for other people)! Let's see if I can spot a free guitar at the centres! If not well I find other good stuff! Like foul balls and other memorabilia! From this time or from an older times! It is quite interesting to be honest with you!
