My Thrifting journey started with records for my record player that I only use when I get majorly stressed out and needs some term to treat my mind that being said I have a mass massive record collection, and I wanna grow some more, but I can only have finite amount of room to do so so I may as well just take what I have and use it. That being said I'm more interested now and taking things that are more rare because one time I ended up getting a record Vinyl record and the Artists on it and I was dumbfounded to be honest with you. I couldn't believe that that was there so I wanna throw out I've been finding a lot of things since I've been in my group home that people throw out and they should be throwing it out because it has monetary and emotional value for them, and they just patch it the more recent one would be an indigenous Canadian rattle that I got at the thrift store who would want to throw that out unless they were ignorant or otherwise but anyways that's one I guess Sterling silver plates all kinds of stuff that people throw out when they really shouldn't be throwing the stuff out!
I have books that haven't even read, and I am the first one to read the goddamn things I have been collecting DVDs at the library that one's not as upsetting because well the library has to make room for other stuff. I guess people have to do the same thing with their valuables and just chuck them to make room and who gets most of the stuff that is more less is signed by a rare celebrity myself instead of them, which is kind of aggravating for the other person when they find out that I have their mid condition whatever the latest thing I got that was really a newsy or two things actually......
Carleton Place has this once a year free cycle where people put stuff on the sidewalks for other people to pick up? I ended up getting a painting that was circa 1963 that would be about a relic. Also, I was at the same time finding a drink wine poster! Which would be partially true because in my culture coffee is a form of wine without alcohol or I drink nonalcoholic wine because I don't like the alcohol because it's very disturbing but not as disturbance people throwing these valuable things out and it drives me insane sometimes it's like you really threw that out to you and you knew that was worth something you knew that was a man you knew this was rare and you f*cking threw it out anyway!
I don't get people sometimes and why sometimes I am labelled as an Asperger's person because it's like get people like you buy something that's empty amount of dollars and then you fucking throw it out the next day because it's not meeting your needs or you want what the hell is wrong with you people ! I'm not expecting everyone to be hoarders, but I don't expect people by $1000 painting and then the next day truck at out the window because it's not what they expected and guess who ends up getting it me well I don't mind getting this stuff and noticing this stuff but and then grabbing it, but it's very aggravating that people would throw our valuable things For any asshole again luckily, it was me and not a crackhead!
To be honest with me, my Thrifting journey started with that then I ended up finding books and other normal stuff like DVDs stuff like that that are really not as rare but or as fun as well it's kind of interesting to be honest with you what you will find that someone will deem as crap and you will find out it's a treasure and actual treasure !-T.M.
