I am a Student Council, so I am hands-on in managing this party from 7am to 11pm currently
I am tired. But, I always am every orientation, graduation, and whenever Alex and Stephen decides to be idiots, which are all the time.
I am tired, all the time.
We decorated the place in black silk and red carnations flowers. The tables have white ceramic with the flowers on display. Since we were given 500,000 as a budget overall, we splurged on creating a magical yet dark venue for the school. The dark chocolate fountain is dyed black, the food has edible spider webs strung all over the plates, and the water containing the red apples have edible green and purple glitter.
Everyone came in the Halloween outfits, most of which were appropriately scary. Unlike Alex Montgomery who just wore an old white European outfit that matches his 6 feet wings whose feathers dragged on the floor. He's blonde and blue-eyed so of course he will dress up as a winged Prince. The girls are already eyeballing him and ignoring their own dates.
"Knox, come on..."
"No."
"Knox, please..."
I face him, snatching away the container filled with vodka that he tries to spike into the punch. "No. Behave. I don't want to be a single dad for tonight taking care of a toddler. Where's Stephen?"
"I saw him with a girl, he looks like a demon..."
I scan Alex's matching outfit to Stephen's horned dark Prince. "Appropriate. Do you still hate him?"
"He's not the one that burned down Erin's apartment, but he still tried to assault him."
"Do you still hate him, Alexander?" I ask, popping open the vodka to take a sip before offering it to him.
He was hesitant, but Alex still takes the bottle and drank two gulps before saying, "I don't hate Stephen. I just strongly dislike what he did."
"You have the right to feel that way, but I swear if you both start telling me to choose a side..." I rolls my eyes before taking back the vodka to make sure he won't put it in anyone's drink. "Speaking of, where's Erin?"
"My mom pushed me out of the door and told me Erin is not suited to ride in my motorbike. That woman... she's taking Erin all to herself. I mean—do I, the one who got him a place to stay, get body massages and alone time with him? No! For fùck's sake!"
This child is jealous of his own mother. "That's because you make inappropriate advances..."
"I don't! Flirting is simply talking to one another. It doesn't mean I want to get into his pants."
I was facing the staircase and my attention was suddenly drawn there, as did everyone else's. "Alex..."
"I don't want to be friends because friends don't kiss and make out. And yes, I try to make out with him but that's not a sexual advance! Making out doesn't have to be sexual. Besides, sexual is gay and all I want is kissing, which isn't—"
"Alexander!" I hit him before looking back at the staircase where someone familiar is making his way down.
Alex's wings knocked off his balance so I had to push him upright. Walking down the stairs was the familiar face of Erin Santino, squirming in between people and apologizing because his Victorian ballgown has a huge crinoline with multiple layers of white lace underskirt topped with a iridescent petticoat, with some layers of golden and pink tulle. All with a peach and white dress with pearl accents. Long lace gloves, authentic pearl necklaces and...
He is a whole Princess with the blonde hair and blue contact lenses. His make up isn't too thick to cover his moles and—Alex's mouth is hanging, until Erin finally noticed him. His outfit screams Lady Montgomery.
