After feeding Meadow, I headed to school with my new bag,
Ace... something happened to him, he was bleeding and looked so beat up. I can't stop worrying about him... I can't stop thinking about him. On my walk to school, a familiar red motorcycle stopped beside me, and I was really ready to hit him with the bag he gave me. "Alex, what the hell is your alien áss face doing in front of me..."
"Good morning to you too," he smirks after opening his tinted helmet. "You're using the new bag, nice..."
"I'm filling my old one with rocks so I can bash your head with it."
"Crime of passion, I'm okay with that..." as I stood confused, he reached down to take a new helmet. "Hop on, I'm on my way to school, too."
Of course he is. "I can walk, thank you very much. I don't want to almost die like last time."
Alex rolled his eyes, "Stephen will be on his way to run you over with his new BMW, if you don't want to worry about Meadow being fed while you're comatosed in the hospital, hop on."
"..." He has a point. Looking back, I felt more fear for my life knowing what the other two are gonna do because they still don't like me. Not that Alex likes me, but he didn't hurt me at his place so I hope he won't drive somewhere to dump my corpse. He understands I have to take care of Meadow.
So, I begrudgingly take the helmet and somehow struggled to put it on because it's big and stuffy. Alex laughed at me before reaching out to fix it like I'm his child or something. Through the tinted glass, I'm sure he can't see me staring at him sadly. Ace... I hope he's not hurt... ugh, I miss those strict yet gentle red eyes. These blue ones are insane.
"There," he smiles at me, and couldn't see me blushing through the tinted glass. When I got on, surprisingly, he's going slow. Even though I'm still hugging for my dear life, he's going so slow that I am able to hear him when he started to speak out.
"How is she?" He asks, looking over to me.
"She's fine—EYES ON THE ROAD—Thank you for the canned tuna you put in the bag. I feed it only to her."
"You don't like tuna?"
Why is he asking so many questions... "Well, it's for her, right? If I eat it too, I'll run out of food for her."
"No need to worry about that, I'll give you some cash."
"Pardon, what the hell?" This weirdo...
"I think I got spare change here," he says, before using one hand to dig through his jacket. "Oh, $300. 10 for 30 days? How much is tuna, do you need $50 a day—"
"I don't need more... I don't need anything at all! Wait... why are you doing this?" I've never been so confused. This man once kicked my bag into the streets in hopes I'll get run over. What brain-eating amoeba has gotten into him now?
"I like the Kitty," Alex chuckles, money between his fingers because I refuse to undo my safety hands to take it. I don't want to, I might fall and crash and die while he's going 35kmh. Last night he went 150kmh, the fùcking speed of light. "Go on, take it."
"I'd rather not let go!"
He chuckles, finding my fear funny. "Haha, cute... don't worry babe, when I like something, I take care of it."
Ugh, babe again?! Well... he's talking about the cat. I don't have to worry about her food for the month, and I can buy cat litter with the extras. My arms tighten as I say, "Fine, if it's for Meadow. I'm still not taking it until I get back on land."
"You're tempting me to speed up so you'll hug tighter, darling."
"I'll suffocate you!" I'm hugging him extra tight because Ace in Wonderland got hurt because of me... It's like an apology; I'm anxious about his well-being. A powerful man, just bleeding in front of me. Please be okay, Ace...
