Millie sat quietly in her chair. Digging the nail of her ring finger in between the nail on her thumb and the thumb itself. Quietly she stared out into the space in front of her, where Jake was busy gathering his things.

"May I ask you a question?" Millie questioned quietly and Jake glanced up. Giving her a small nod, "Am I a suspect?"

"For now, no," Jake shook his head, "we have no suspects but the one already arrested. It does not exclude the possibility of you being a suspect in the future."

"Okay..." Millie nodded quietly, glancing to the one-way mirror, in which she only saw herself, "how many have been watching."

"Just one," Jake smiled reassuringly, "she'll be escorting you out. I have to go. Busy and all."

"That's fine," Millie nodded quietly, "it's fair."

"I'll let you know if I'll need you for anything else," Jake smiled and grabbed his mug, which barely contained any coffee at this point. Leaving with a wide smile at Millie.

For what felt like half an hour Millie sat staring into the air in front of her. Eventually, a young familiar face entered the room and Millie smiled slightly as Jiyeon started clearing out the table Millie sat by.

"Do you want a cup of water with you on your way out?" Jiyeon gently questioned.

"I'm fine," Millie shook her head quietly, "it's a relief it wasn't some stern detective watching me."

"You did great. I've seen people fumble more in their interrogations, despite being innocent," Jiyeon smiled gently, "it's logical that you're nervous. Don't worry about it."

"I just don't want to get accused of something I haven't done."

"Detective Sim and his colleagues are quite good. I'd be surprised if they start accusing anyone soon. An innocent witness at that."

Millie nodded quietly. Standing up from her chair she grabbed her coat and her school bag. Throwing on the coat she quickly lifted her bag to her shoulder, getting ready to leave as she watched Jiyeon clean up the table.

"I have to go. I have music theory in half an hour," Millie excused and Jiyeon immediately nodded, "do you need anything?"

"Oh no no no," Jiyeon waved it off with a smile, "I don't have any lectures today. Let me walk you out."

Millie smiled slightly as Jiyeon showed the way out of the interrogation room and through the office space where the few officers had their desks as well as a new makeshift desk having been set up in the middle of the room where the three detectives from up north had set up their station.

"When are you getting off today?" Millie questioned as she glanced around the office, letting Jiyeon pause by a table to drop a file and eventually by the makeshift desk to drop the transcripts of Millie's interrogation. Giving a small smile to Heeseung, who glanced up from his work.

"Once I've filled out the form and gotten the copy on your transcript," Jiyeon replied calmly and tapped the file sternly, sending Heeseung a look, to which he only nodded, "I'm going to the university before dinner though. Finally managed to hog a spot in the reading group."

"Oh, that's hard to get into, isn't it? I thought all the literature students took up that club," Millie remarked as Jungwon wandered over and looked over Heeseung's shoulder.

"It is," Jiyeon hummed before turning to the two detectives, "Detective Yang, will you copy these transcripts for me? I hardly believe your colleague will be doing it any time soon, and if you don't mind I need to go home and get lunch as soon as possible."

"Sure," Jungwon hummed and looked over at the file Jiyeon had tapped.

"Yeah, no. The literature students take up the majority of the club, but it's so old and as long as you study at least something with words you can be lucky and get accepted. The Pine Readers aren't easy to get into, but I heard they have special entry to part of the university's library," Jiyeon continued and followed Millie out of the offices and out to the front where she stood behind the desk, beside Secretary Choi and getting out a form to fill out Millie's information.

"Just something for you then," Millie declared and Jiyeon let out a small snort.

"We both know had it been the studies of the Wiener Classicism we were doing you'd be in the club within a heartbeat," Jiyeon remarked and Millie nodded quietly, "you're free to go."

"Thank you," Millie smiled and Jiyeon hummed waving her off.

Filling out the form for Millie wasn't exactly hard. Jiyeon knew the majority of the information already, and if not she had memorised it from the note Jake had given her before the interrogation. By the time the form had been filled out, she passed it on down to Secretary Choi, who would make sure it was stored correctly.

"I have your copy," Jungwon wandered out to the front hall by the time Jiyeon was pulling on her coat.

"Oh, just hand it on to Detective Ahn," Jiyeon excused and checked the wall clock above the front entrance, "I'm in a bit of a hurry."

"Miss Young, can I ask you-" Jungwon started but by that time Jiyeon had already opened the door out into the cold autumn air.

"I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry. You can ask me tomorrow!" Jiyeon called out and let the door fly closed behind her.

Jungwon frowned at the door before leaning against the front desk. Shoving both his hands into his pockets after having dropped the copied transcript beside Secretary Choi.

"I'm sure it's a boy this time. I haven't seen her this energetic since she started," Secretary Choi remarked and Jungwon hummed quietly, squinting his eyes at the door.

"Ma'am, how much information are you allowed to give on your colleagues?" Jungwon questioned and turned his head to look down at the elderly woman beside him.

"I can find their file for you. I have been told near nothing is classified in your case," Secretary Choi calmly pointed out and looked over the form Jiyeon had been filling out for Millie, "who do you want the file on?"

"Her," Jungwon remarked and nodded his head towards the door.

"Miss Young doesn't like to have her private life interfered with her work life," Secretary Choi calmly reminded, "she will not be interested, sir."

"She might have to sacrifice some privacy. She said something interesting I need to investigate."
