Jungwon let out a heavy sigh, knocking eagerly on Jiyeon's door while he fumbled with a tie in between knocks. By the time no life signs had presented itself from the other side of the door, he knocked again, just a tad bit harder.

"If you want to continue following me in the case you have to get up!" Jungwon called out.

"Will you quit making so much noise? I can barely even drink my tea," Jiyeon remarked and appeared at the end of the hallway, having been in the kitchen all along. She was already fully dressed and looked like she was ready to go, "what do you need a tie for?"

Jungwon paused for a second and then frowned. How had she gotten out into the kitchen without him noticing?

"I've been unpacking and organising all night," Jiyeon excused as if she could read his mind, "lose the tie, it's a terrible colour."

Once she disappeared back into the kitchen Jungwon threw the tie on the floor and pursed his lips. He knew the tie was ugly, but she didn't have to say it so blatantly. Even when he walked into the kitchen she was simply sitting by the kitchen counter, noting something in her notebook and sipping from her cup of tea.

"The box is back on the table," Jungwon remarked as his eyes fell on the cardboard box beside the stove.

"I figured your feelings were hurt," Jiyeon murmured casually, "what a way to start my living here. Making my roommate sulky."

"I'm not sulky," Jungwon commented and grabbed a mug, pouring up the remaining of hot water from the kettle and throwing in some instant coffee powder.

"Yeah you are... a lil' sulky detective," Jiyeon snickered in amusement and finally raised her head to look at him. It was clear he wasn't pleased with being called sulky.

His lips were pursed and one eyebrow was raised in dissatisfaction.

"You even tried to be all serious yesterday with the detectives from the police," she continued in amusement.

"You're talking to me like I'm a kid," Jungwon remarked and she hummed with a small nod, "Stop it."

"Why? You're fun to tease," she remarked and he hummed calmly, "You look soooo intimidating with that little dimple, you know?"

"Well good to know you find it fun to tease people who look intimidating because we're going to the prison today," Jungwon declared and Jiyeon hummed calmly, "you're completely unfazed by that?"

"I worked in a police station and in court, remember?" Jiyeon questioned and Jungwon hummed in amusement.

"Hm..." Jungwon hummed thoughtfully and glanced down into his cardboard box, all teeth were still in there. Thankfully, he noted, "I need to talk to a connection in there. She might've heard something."

"She?"

"Not as harmless as she looks. Don't let her fool you."
