Jiyeon was stirring calmly in a small pot she had brought from her apartment. Once in a while glancing over towards Jungwon, who had agreed he probably shouldn't be cooking in his work clothes and eventually had changed into something else. He was chopping vegetables at an utmost slow speed. He only noticed how slow he was going once he heard Jiyeon let out a small laugh at him.

"What?" Jungwon questioned.

"Are we supposed to be eating tonight?" Jiyeon let out a small laugh and Jungwon just looked down at how he only had made his way a fourth through the vegetables, "the meat is gonna end up charred before you even finish chopping the vegetables.

"Alright! Then you do it!" Jungwon let out a small laugh and took a step away from the cutting board.

"But you don't let the meat burn," Jiyeon warned sternly as she handed the spoon to him and went to finish chopping up the vegetables.

Jungwon happily took the job of stirring, every once in a while stabbing the block of minced meat with his spoon.

"I just don't wanna risk cutting myself," Jungwon excused calmly and Jiyeon nodded in amusement, already over halfway through the vegetables, "see? The speed you're going at, you're gonna end up cutting yourself."

"Sure thing," Jiyeon hummed calmly, "could or would cut myself?"

"Could," Jungwon clarified and Jiyeon hummed quietly, "I sure hope."

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine," Jiyeon waved it off and lifted the cutting board, gently puffing Jungwon away from the pot and pushing the vegetables from the cutting board and into the pot, "stir."

"Demanding," Jungwon remarked as Jiyeon went to put the pasta boiling.

"You're making a bolognese. It's simple. Be thankful," Jiyeon warned and let the pasta boil as she quietly moved about to get the tomatoes and some water. Immediately pouring it into the pot Jungwon was stirring in, "You can go in eights instead of just a circle."

"See what I mean? Demanding," Jungwon remarked.

"No... helping," Jiyeon clarified, "just stir a bit more and then I think we can let it simmer until the pasta is done boiling... should've brought some of my spices now that I think about it."

"I'll take the credit to not hurt your cooking reputation."

Jiyeon snickered in amusement and glanced up at Jungwon, who nodded mindlessly to himself. He almost seemed normal now that he was out of his work clothes and especially considering his eyes weren't darting about on her face or any surroundings to decipher the tiniest clues. If Jiyeon didn't know better he could be a mere student at the university.

"You can stop stirring now," Jiyeon murmured and picked up the lid.

"Could," Jungwon murmured with a small nod.

"No... you can stop," Jiyeon clarified and grabbed the spoon from Jungwon's hand and threw it into the sink before turning down the heat under the pot and placing the lid on it, "now we wait until the pasta is cooked and you've actually made dinner... mostly."

"I could," Jungwon hummed.

"Of course, you could," Jiyeon hummed in amusement, "it's not that hard. Considering how smart you are you should find this easy."

"Ugh! I'm an idiot!" Jungwon loudly exclaimed and fell down into one of the chairs at his dining table. Jiyeon abruptly turned around in shock and stared at him, "I would! Not I could!"

"What in the world are you going on about?" she let out a small laugh as he ran a hand over his face.

"I said, I could kiss you. Earlier today," Jungwon murmured and Jiyeon hummed calmly and crossed her arms over her chest, "and you asked me... could or would? And Secretary Choi looked at me so funnily. Goodness, I'm an idiot. A great and big idiot."
