"Good morning, Mr. Yang," the man smiled smugly and Jungwon put his mug down and stared at the man with an arched brow, "ah miss Transcriber!" he happily smiled and looked over at a very confused Jiyeon with a wide smile, "I did sense something was going on between you two when I last saw you."

"I'm sorry... do I know you?" Jiyeon frowned at the man, who quickly looked to Jungwon, who grabbed his plate and coffee mug.

"Let's discuss in the living room," Jungwon urged and the man followed as Jungwon rushed through the glass-panelled door to the living room. Jiyeon was left in confusion with mrs. Mae.

"Busy one," mrs. Mae excused and looked over at Jiyeon with a small smile, "how are you moving in sweetie?"

"Fine," Jiyeon murmured and glanced into the living room, where she could simply see Jungwon sit down in an armchair with his breakfast and the coffee mug, the man with the cane standing in the middle of the room and talking as if he was proposing a business idea, "I should go down and continue unpacking mrs. Mae."

"If you need anything, let me know," mrs. Mae hummed and watched as Jiyeon went down to her room.

Through the glass panels in the door to the kitchen Jungwon just caught sight of Jiyeon leaving down towards her room, her door closing in the rush as well.

"Are you even listening?" the man with the cane questioned and Jungwon looked back up at him.

"Excuse me, I have a new roommate who you just frightened. I think you can look past the fact that I want to ensure she's alright," Jungwon excused calmly and sipped from his coffee, "what is so important that you feel the need to interrupt me in my morning coffee? Tax evasions again? I'll have it done by tonight for a good price."

"Series of women have been found murdered in the underground network," the man remarked and Jungwon glanced over at him.

"What type of women?"

"All," the man replied, "a new thing is missing each time."

"Missing?"

"Last woman was in lack of her legs."

"That's two things."

"That's beside the point. Three women have been found so far. One missing her arms, one missing her legs and one... missing her pelvic area."

"And these women must be important if you find them interesting."

"One of them is a childhood friend of the vice president," the man with the cane remarked and Jungwon hummed thoughtfully, "The least important one is from the drug rings."

"There's no such thing as less important people when you ask me to work on a case, you know that very well Abe," Jungwon calmly reminded and glanced out his window.

"The police can't solve it."

"Of course, they can't," Jungwon murmured and scratched the side of his nose, "they only see corpses with missing body parts, not why? Why missing body parts?"

"Why?"

"He's building a doll, isn't it obvious?" Jungwon murmured calmly and looked back at Abe, "And something's got to hook these women together. He's building from a template... replicating something. They're not chosen by random."

"What?"

"Well, that's the exciting thing, isn't it? Not what is he replicating? Who. Who is he replicating?"

"This isn't exciting. This is a gruesome, gruesome murder," Abe sternly remarked.

"That too," Jungwon waved it off, "see now this is fun. This is way more fun than tax evasion. Why didn't you come earlier?"

"What? So are you taking the case?" Abe questioned and Jungwon nodded, quickly gulping down his coffee and abruptly standing up.

"Might need an assistant though. I'll find one," Jungwon waved it off, "I'll get dressed, take me to the scene after."

"I'm not your transportation-" Abe started as Jungwon rushed back into the kitchen and down towards his bedroom.

"You are now!"

Abe was left in the living room, standing completely stunned by the sudden turn of events. He had expected having to spend hours on trying to convince Jungwon to take another murder case. Ever since he had gotten back from whatever case he had finished down south he had been almost impossible to get on murder cases.

About ten minutes had passed by the time Jungwon rushed out of his room, now dressed in black slacks and a white shirt. His blazer in hand as he went to knock on Jiyeon's door.

"Miss Yo- Jiyeon!" Jungwon called out and Jiyeon took a few seconds before opening the door, staring up at a very happy Jungwon. His fingers worked on the last top buttons of his shirt, "Good morning. Lovely morning, isn't it?"

"What is it?" Jiyeon murmured.

"You need a job, bad, don't you?" Jungwon questioned and she hummed, "doesn't need to be journalism does it?"

"I'm a journa-"

"You want to write a series of articles on a serial killer the press don't know about yet?" Jungwon questioned and she immediately straightened up a bit, "gruesome murders, be warned."

"Where?" Jiyeon frowned and he glanced down at her.

"Get yourself presentable, living room in five minutes."

Jungwon only snickered as Jiyeon immediately nodded and closed her door. Once back in the living room he quickly told Abe to wait for his assistant and that Jungwon of course expected both of them to be paid. The only thing more satisfying than the confirmation that both of them would be paid was the face of Abe when Jiyeon rushed out looking fairly professional in comparison to her hoodie and jeans she had been wearing minutes before. A notepad and pen in one hand, a voice recorder in her coat pocket and already lighting up red. One thing Jungwon only noticed of course.

"Miss Young here is gonna accompany me," Jungwon excused and grabbed his coat from the backside of the main door, "and she'll be paid equally as much as me, thank you. Show the way to the car Abe."

Abe glanced back and forth between Jungwon and Jiyeon, who only just had a small smile on her face. Eventually, he huffed and wandered out the door as Jungwon pulled on his coat and watched after him in amusement.

"Let's go?" Jungwon offered as Jiyeon glanced back at him and blinked a few times, "Jiyeon?"

"Sorry... you... hm... seemed familiar for a second there," she excused with a small smile and walked past him and out onto the stairs, "this better be as good as you make it out to be."

"Even better," Jungwon assured with a small smile, rushing her down the stairs in front of him.
