J: Right Miss Kirk, let me get to it. You've been picked for interrogation as a witness to a murder involved in the Mural Murders. According to what I can see you've been present on or around the murder scene in the time around the murder. Is that correct?

M: I'm not entirely sure. Where was the murder?

J: I do believe you know so. Detective Ahn claims to have seen you in your window, on the night of the murder.

M: Yes, I live across the street from the old warehouse.

J: Noticed anything suspicious in or around the area the days leading up to the murder?

M: No.

J: Anyone suspicious?

M: No.

J: Then why were you standing in the window on that particular night? Looking towards the warehouse?

M: I was staying up, reading up on my studies. On the way home that day I recall the wind having been strong and I had dropped a lot of my sheet music on the ground. A good bunch had ended in a rain puddle from earlier that day... I uhm... I stayed up late to hang up my sheet music and organise it in the proper order... then... at one point I heard the police sirens and I got curious.

J: But you don't know who called the police?

M: I don't- it never occurred to me that someone would've called them for them to know about the murder.

J: Please answer my question, Miss Kirk.

M: No, I saw no one leave the scene or enter the scene, besides the police and Detective Ahn.

J: Do you think any of your neighbours might've seen anyone leave the place?

M: I'm afraid not. I have no neighbour up on the first floor. Below me lives a senile woman, and the owners of the shops on the street have their living quarters facing the back street. I highly doubt anyone would've seen it.

J: Very well, that's my question for now. Thank you for your time Miss Kirk. I'll be in touch with you if I have further questions. If that is alright?

M: Of course.

J: Then we'll end this questioning now.
