Kaitlyn woke up still lying on her belly and aching all over in sheer agony from her father's beating. Her head rose as her eyes scanned the room for this man she once believed was her father. When she could not see him anywhere, she started to panic. Where was he? What was he going to do to her now? How could she stop him? She tore at her restraints with her free hand, trying desperately to free her other bound hand and leg. Once they were accessible, she stumbled from the bed and fell to her knees. The pain of them hitting the floor caused her to cry out in agony. Her legs felt as if she had been in that bed for months. She crawled across the room to her old calendar. There was a new one in place of the old one, as she had hoped there would be.

"Oh lord, help me, "Kaitlyn gasped as she saw the date on the calendar. Had she been unconscious for three weeks in this room, in that bed? She knew she must have been in a comma-like state to be passed out that long. Rick must have thought she would not wake up since he untied her one hand. This realization made her cry like a child.

Another thought crossed Kaitlyn's mind once she forced her tears to come to a halt. She
She slid her hand between her thighs, checking for the blood of her monthly flow. She found she was not bleeding. Her monthly flow was already four days late before her father took her. Why had it not come by now, she wondered. It hit her like a ton of lead. No, Kaitlyn thought, it cannot be, can it? Her mind roamed back to the past three months. She had her periods, but they only lasted two days each. At the time, she had convinced herself that it was due to stress. She did not have one; her hand went to her belly. "God help me, I'm pregnant, she whispered to herself.

"I'm having Jax's baby; he may never know." Kaitlyn knew if she did not get away from this madman, it would not matter. She and the baby would more than likely be killed. Jax's face popped into her head. She had to get out of there and find him, telling him he would be a father. She had to save her baby and herself. Her legs trembled as she forced herself from the floor to the stairway. She stumbled and nearly fell down the stairs until she grabbed the rail with the strength she had left. If she could get to the phone, she would call Bailey, and she could get help.

Kaitlyn told herself Bailey would not let her down; she would be saved. She and her baby would be all right. She just prayed it would not be too late. It hurt so bad to move, yet she continued to do so, crying with each stab of pain. She felt in her back and legs. Please let my baby be okay, she kept thinking repeatedly, giving herself the strength to move faster. She knew she had to get to that phone before her maniac's so-called father returned for her. At last, she reached the bottom step. She crawled from the bottom step onto the floor below as her legs gave out again. She did not care if she had to continue crawling; she would make it even if she had to do so on her hands and knees. She finally reached the kitchen where the phone was. She grabbed the table's edge, closed her eyes, and again pictured Jax's face. This image of the man she loved gave her the strength to pull herself from the floor. She reached for the phone and grasped it, and her fingers frantically dialed the number to Bailey's location. It seemed like an eternity before she answered the phone.

"Bailey, help me, my father has me, I..." Kaitlyn said barely above a whisper, but she felt her head snap back before she could finish. Rick grabbed her by the hair; Kaitlyn screamed in agony, dropping the phone and shattering it into a thousand pieces. Rick turned her to face him and slapped her so violently that it split her lower lip. She could taste the blood in her mouth as she stumbled back onto the floor. Before she even had time to react, he grabbed her by the hair, once again dragging her kicking and screaming body into his room. It felt as though her head was being torn from her body as he continued to use her hair to drag her into the room. Kaitlyn thought she would pass out from all the pain in her body that seemed to be hitting her at all at once.

Once inside his bedroom, Rick yanked harder on Kaitlyn's hair, pulling her to her feet. Then he slammed her onto his bed and jumped over the top of her, pinning her hands above her head. "You are a succubus, the devil's concubine. You even tempt me, the man you once called father. I should kill you," he hissed.

"NO," Kaitlyn yelled as she started fighting him with everything; she had realized Rick wanted more than to kill her. She could feel his manhood hardening in his pants. His rough, evil hand tore at what was left of her already torn dress. He lowered his hand and reached down his pants, pulling his manhood out.

"God help me, please not, please don't do this," Kaitlyn begged.

Rick's only response to her was his mouth crushing hard upon hers, making her almost vomit from the taste of his vile lips on her. Just when she thought he was about to rape her, he yelled out a curse and got from her. He begged God for the strength to fight his wicked desires. She listened to the ramblings of this madman and cried in terror. She felt so helpless at his mercy. She prayed Bailey would get her help and fast before he tried to rape her again or kill her. She prayed it would not be too late once help finally did arrive.
