Kaitlyn lay in terror, crying and shaking all over, watching Rick. He was sitting at the edge of the bed, staring at her. She was horrified by what he might be thinking, and then he grabbed her arms and pulled her under his body once more. Not again, she cried inside; please do not let this happen. She struggled, and he kept trying to kiss her. She began clawing and kicking at him, but he held her tighter to control her. He brutally pawed at her tender flesh, and she could feel him let his manhood out of his pants as before when he almost raped her. Please, God, stop him as you did before, she prayed inside her mind. Just as she felt the tip of this monster's manhood touch her, she freed one of her arms and slapped him hard across the face. Before he could react, she bit down on his shoulder. He grabbed her roughly and yanked her to her feet, howling in pain. After slapping her at least three times, bloodying her nose and mouth, he pulled her against his face and hissed at her.

"You little whore, you servant of Satan. I'm going to deliver you into hell with my bare hands after I have used your lustful body to my liking." Kaitlyn screamed; her knees gave out beneath her, and she nearly fell. He laughed like a lunatic and shoved her to the bed, where she lay frozen in shock until finally thinking of a way to keep him from raping her.

"This sin you are about to commit will only send you to hell with me," Kaitlyn screamed. These words stopped Rick from raping her, but now he grabbed her by the throat and started to choke her. She gasped for air as she once again tried to free herself from him. The more she fought him, the tighter his grip on her neck got until darkness took over, and she passed out.

Rick felt Kaitlyn grow still in his arms, and he thought she was dead. He stopped choking her and looked around the room for something to use to make sure. He prayed she was back in hell.
He spotted a cast iron object inside his closet where she belonged and picked it up. He would have bashed her in the head with it if he had not heard a loud bang coming from downstairs. He thought perhaps it was his wife coming back to him, that she must have come to her senses and wanted to repent her sins. He would make her repent and offer Kaitlyn's life as a vow never to stray from the path of the Lord again.

Rick frantically ran down the steps of the stairs. At the bottom, he saw what he could only describe as Satan himself. He was almost frozen in shock, praying for god's protection. The devil-man stood over six feet tall, dressed in solid black. His hair was long down to his shoulders; the only rage was in his dark, inhuman green eyes. He thought, lord, help me; Lucifer has come for his concubine. He wants his whore so they can have their demon offspring and destroy the world with them. He wished God would come down and save him from this beast.

Jax grabbed Rick by the throat in one solid stride and slammed him hard against the wall. He lifted him off the floor and looked at him directly as he spoke. "Where's Kaitlyn? I've come for her?" Rick shook with fear, so petrified that he could not even speak. Jax threw him across the room and ran up the stairs, shouting Kaitlyn's name.

Jax searched for Kaitlyn for what felt like an eternity, praying she was okay. Finally, he found her she was lying on her father's bed. Her clothes were torn from her body, exposing her flesh that was battered and bruised. His heart nearly exploded with agony as he saw how lifeless she looked. He was terrified he was too late. He rolled her over to see if she was breathing, only to find more cuts and bruises on her. He saw red. He wanted to kill her father with his bare hands. She was alive, just unconscious, but the rage kept growing inside of Jax. It began to burn out of control as he ran back down the stairs. He walked back to her father, who now lay curled into a ball in a corner, begging god to save him from the devil.

Rick begged for mercy as Jax grabbed him up and pinned him to the wall. Jax looked him in the eyes and spoke in a growl-like voice that shook the room. "No longer will you hurt another as you have Kaitlyn. No longer shall you hurt her!" Jax released him, their eyes locked once again, and Rick pulled a knife, screaming words of insanity as he lunged for him. There was a struggle; her father was flung to the floor, and the knife plunged into the artery of his neck, killing him almost instantly. All of Jax's anger and rage disappeared as he stared at the lifeless body of this monster that had hurt the woman he loved. He knew at that moment he had done the right thing in confronting him, even if he accidentally killed him. This man would have never left Kaitlyn alone.
