LUNCH AT EMILY'S AND JARED'S BIG MOUTH.

In the middle of the night Ana and Charlie were woken up by screams and wails. Ana rushed out of bed in a panic. At first she didn't know what was happening, she thought someone was seriously injured. Then she realized that it was Bella. She's probably having a bad dream.

When she got to her bedroom Charlie was already there, holding Bella in his arms and trying to calm her down. Bella held tightly to her father and sobbed.

Charlie noticed Ana at the door and whispered to her "Go back to bed honey, I've got Bella."

Ana bit her lip and thought about whether to leave her father with Bella or not. She relented and returned to her bedroom.

When Ana went down to the kitchen in the morning, she found her father sitting at the table drinking coffee. A tired and exhausted Charlie greeted her "Good morning kiddo."

"Good morning dad. Did you sleep at all? Don't be offended and I'm sorry for the language, but you look like shit." she told him

Charlie crack smile "Thank you my wonderful daughter and watch your language."

Ana laughed lightly. She saw that there was still some coffee left in the pot and asked "Do you want to drink more coffee or can I pour myself what's left?"

He shook his head "This is my second cup, feel free to take it."

She poured coffee into her cup and sat down at the table. There was silence. Neither of them knew what to say.

"Is Bella asleep?" Ana asks

Charlie nodded "I checked on her when I got up, she was asleep."

There was silence again. This time Charlie broke it "I don't know what to do. I feel like this is all my fault, if I had kept her away from that..that boy maybe this wouldn't have happened."

Ana took his hand in hers "Dad, you can't blame yourself. How many times have we both tried to tell her that their relationship is not healthy and that they are obsessed with each other? And every time she would get defensive and argue with us. This is nobody's fault but his, and I hate to say it but hers."

Charlie breathed out "I know but.."

"No buts!" Ana interrupted him sharply "I love that you are such a wonderful and caring father, but I will not let you take the blame for this. And don't you dare think that you are a bad father! Bella is not a little child anymore, she is capable of making her own decisions and to be honest she's not the same person anymore."

Charlie just looked at Ana and thought how mature she was and how lucky he was to have her by his side.

"Bella is hurt right now, but it will get better with time. We have to believe that." she finished.
