The plane landed in Seattle and Anabella was out before Isabella could blink. Excitement and joy radiated from her, which could not be said for Isabella.

Isabella was really trying to look happy to finally see her father, but in reality she wasn't excited at all. Her relationship with her father disappeared the day her mother took her away from Forks.

Anabella, on the other hand, was impatient and couldn't wait to hug her father. While they were waiting for their suitcases, it seemed like eternity passed by. They finally left the airport and entered the parking lot. Anabella was tiptoeing to spot her dad.

Suddenly Isabella appeared next to her and said with dread in her voice "Oh my God, he came to pick us up with a cruiser!"

Anabella looked around and spotted Charlie. She squealed and started running towards him. He wore a big smile on his face. When she was close to him he spread his arms for a hug. Of course, Anabella threw herself at him and hugged him tightly.

"Dad, I missed you so much!" she said on the verge of tears

Charlie was not a very emotional person, he rarely showed emotions. But when his little girl was in his arms again, he couldn't help but shed a tear.

He said in a shaky voice "Honey, I've missed you so much."

When he released her from his embrace, he looked at her carefully and shook his head, "You've grown so much, look at you, you're not a little girl anymore."

Anabella smiled with tears in her eyes. She couldn't help but think how she and her father had missed so much time together. But she must think positively, now they will make up for all the time they were apart.

"Yes, I am." Now she took a good look at him and laughed, "You haven't aged at all, I was expecting a gray-haired old man to meet me."

Charlie narrowed his eyes at her "You better watch what you say kiddo, I'm still at full strength."

Isabella walked over to them and cleared her throat awkwardly "Hey Charlie, good to see you."

Yes, Isabella called her father by his name, which made Anabella very sad. He is her father, at least out of politeness, if nothing else, she can call him "Dad".

Anabella looked at her father and saw a slightly sad look on his face as he realized Isabella wasn't going to greet him like she did. But the two are very similar, they don't know how to behave in certain situations.

Isabella then gave Charlie a side hug, to which Anabella cringed.

"Bella, you've grown too, I can barely recognize you both."

Bella just smiled awkwardly and looked at the floor. Anabella watched their interaction with a tint of humor. They both looked at the floor and didn't know what to say.

With a roll of her eyes Anabella broke the silence "Are we going to stand here all day or are we going to get in the car and hit the road?" she raised an eyebrow.

The car ride home was awkward to say the least, but what to expect from Bella and Charlie. He at least tried to start a conversation, but Bella only answered his questions briefly.

Anabella decided to stay out of their so-called conversation and drifted off into her own thoughts.

She finally came home, where she belongs. She loves her mom, but there was always something missing in her life.
