When Ana and Paul woke up the next day, Bella and Edwarda had already gone to Jacksonville to visit the girl's mother. It was a relief for Ana, because she wouldn't have to listen to Bella whine about not wanting to go with them, and because she didn't have to put up with Edward's presence.
The conversation with Charlie last night went great, Ana was relieved now that she finally told her father about her pregnancy. Now she can focus on moving to La Push with Paul. Although she is a little sad that she is leaving her home, to which she practically just returned, and leaving her dad, she is very happy that she will start a new chapter in her life and start her family with the man she loves immensely.
Ana still feels morning sickness, they are not as frequent as in the beginning, but they are still present more than she would like. And now she had them. The only thing that relieves her nausea is toast and tea. Even the smell of coffee bothers her, without which she cannot start the day normally.
She was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for Paul and Charlie. The two were sitting at the kitchen table, drinking coffee and talking. When Ana placed the bacon on the pan and the smell hit her nose, her stomach turned. She tried not to react, but she couldn't.
"Oh God." she put her hand over her mouth and ran towards the bathroom where she vomited her soul on the toilet.
While she was on her knees and with her head in the toilet, she heard a knock.
"Baby, are you okay?" she heard worried Paul
"I'm fine, don't come in!" she didn't want him to see her like this, she didn't want to see herself like this either.
Of course, he didn't listen to her, and since she was in a hurry, she didn't locked the door, so he entered.
She looked at him with teary tired eyes "I told you not to come in. There's no need for you to look at me like this."
He took a towel, wet it with cold water and crouched behind her "Yeah, like I'm going to sit still while you're sick here." he said putting a cool towel on her neck.
She rested her back against his chest, closed her eyes and let out a sigh of relief "Thank you Paul, you don't need to do this."
He kissed the top of her head "I need to and I want to. My baby is making you sick and I want to make it as easy as I can for you."
She smiled "You're right. This is your fault."
Paul laughed "Sorry baby, but what can I do when my swimmers are fast. They made it to the finish line on the first try, regardless of the obstacles."
Ana laughed, "Shut up. When I give birth, we'll never have sex again."
"You don't mean that." he helped her up from the floor "Let's wash you up and you will lie down for a while and eat something."
