"Ana, are you ready? We have to go." Paul shouted from the living room to Ana who was in the bedroom putting the finishing touches on her hair.

"I'm coming!" she shouted back.

They are finally going on a date. After the battle with the newborn vampires, things have finally calmed down and everyone is slowly returning to their normal lives. This means that Ana and Paul can finally go out on a date like any other normal couple. She finally has the chance to dress nicely and feel like a beautiful woman, which she is.

Paul was excited, happy and a little sad because he couldn't give her these simple things earlier. He could never take her out to dinner, to the movies, for a relaxing walk on the beach, or just go somewhere with her just to drink coffee or go for ice cream. He was always too busy with pack business, trying to stop the vampires, protecting Bella much to his displeasure, and if they got some time for themselves it would be too dangerous to get away from La Push. Although she always assured him that she understood and that she didn't need all these things, he knew that she lacked it. And that's why he decided to make up for everything she missed, at least until the baby is born. He wanted to give her the world, see her smile every day and look into her sparkling eyes full of love and happiness.

It is an understatement to say that Ana was happy and excited. The two will soon have a baby and this is only their second date. But she understands that they were not able to do otherwise. With the life they live, or have lived until now, it would be dangerous. She understands that Paul had responsibilities that he couldn't walk away from and that's okay. Ana experienced a lot of disappointment, anger, sadness and sleepless nights, and the last thing on her mind was to go somewhere with Paul on a date. But now that it's finally over, and when they finally don't have to look over their shoulders every second, they can relax and enjoy each other and devote themselves and their relationship.

A month has passed since the battle with the newborn vampires. Paul no longer feels any effects at all, in fact it only took him three days to fully heal. Ana was by his side the whole time with the help of Charlie and Leah. The boys and Leah still had patrols just in case, but they were less frequent and more relaxed. Even though it's finally over, they still can't let their guard down completely. There will always be vampires and Bella and the Cullens are still around, so you can never be too careful.

Speaking of Bella, no one has heard from her, not even Jake, who she claims is her best friend and that she can't live without him. It seems that all she needs in her life are the Cullens and now that they are back in her life and she is no longer in danger, nothing else matters. She was just taking advantage of Jake in Edward's absence and was taking advantage of the entire pack just to protect her from Victoria. And now that the danger has passed, she is no longer interested in the pack. In fact, she never asked how Paul was doing after his injuries, never asked anyone how they were, and never thanked anyone for risking their lives for her. The only one who expressed gratitude and was willing to help Paul after his injuries was Doctor Carlisle. No one really cared, but it just showed them what Bella was really like, not that they didn't know until then but...
