Kan looked at the susanoo with fear.

The way the bones sounded, how they appeared, and how massive they were.

Inside, Izumi was panting heavily. She did not know what to feel. Excitement, or fear, that she had made it this far with the mangekyo sharigan.

She instructed the susanoo to attack Kan with its arm. She coughed after it attacked near him.

"Stop it, Izumi!" She thought to herself as she tried to regain control of herself.

The susanoo was too much for Izumi to bear. But, aside from that, it had protected her from Kan's massive bolt of lightning.

Izumi collapsed to the ground, and the dark purple bones vanished before her. Only the crushed walls and floor remained after its impact.

Kan looked down at her in amusement.

"What was that? Some sort of demon!?" Kan thought as he dashed towards her with a kunai.

When Izumi looked up and saw Kan, she felt him stab her. She glanced down at her hip and noticed the kunai stuck there.

She coughed up blood. "You are weak..." Kan stated coldly to her. "But I have to say, that last move was quite impressive! I had no idea you had that in you," Kan said bluntly.

Their eyes met. Both are filled with disgust and hatred for one another. "Trust me... that is not all I can do..." Izumi spoke boldly.

Kan looked at her, puzzled.

"Do not let your guard down," she said quietly. Yuki emerged from above her and struck him with a kunai.

Kan fell backwards, stunned by what had just happened. "W-What the hell? Yuki!" Kan yelled, confused.

She sat on Kan and strangled him. Izumi panted as she expended the last of her chakra on that stunt. She forced herself to stand and removed the kunai from her hip-she groaned in pain.

She walked to him, her hand covering the wound, and quickly healed it. "Tell me, where are the women and children you are holding captive!" Izumi exclaimed angrily.

Kan looked at her coldly. Then she forced Yuki to grip his neck even tighter, making him squint due to a lack of oxygen.

"A-As, If! I-I will... e-ever t-tell... you!" Kan stammered.

Izumi glared at him. She pulled a kunai from her pouch and held it to his chest. "Tell me, or I will rip your heart out right here and now!" she exclaimed.

Kan's eyes widened at her threat. But he did not move, even with it above him. He wanted to see if she was genuine about it.

When she got closer, he realized she was not joking. "O-Okay!" he cried.

Yuki loosened her grip on him enough for him to speak.

"T-They are in the castle... we call it the dungeon because of the interior, but t-there, the cellars lie..." Kan spoke with fear and perspiration on his face.

Izumi smiled gently at him, "How nice of you; who would have thought you would actually give in!" she said softly.

He looked away, embarrassed by his defeat against her. She lost control of Yuki, and they both watched as she fell to the side and hit her head hard.

"W-What have you done to her?" Kan demanded fearfully from his defeated teammate.

She stared at her coldly, "She is passed out. She's under one of my genjutsus, but she will wake up in a week or so..." Izumi responded.

Kan looked at her with fear. This woman, who appears to be a weakling, is actually very strong.

"You know, you do not look like a Uchiha," Kan commented.

Izumi looked at him with tired eyes. "I am half blooded. I hear that a lot, even from my enemies. I would always feel ashamed and guilty about being a member of the clan despite not looking the part. But now I am glad I look different. Just because I am an Uchiha, it doesn't mean I have to look like one," Izumi said with a gentle smile.

He blushed at her reply.

She limped away towards the stairs, hoping to reach Itachi, but Kan was still speaking with his last breaths before passing out. "You may not look like a Uchiha, but you are beautiful just the way you are. I hope you know that," Kan said closing his eyes letting the sleep take him away.

Izumi blushed from the compliment. She looked down at the ground, ashamed of wanting to accept it. Even from her own enemy, who had previously attempted to kill her with his partner!

Before she could respond, the wall next to them collapsed. A susanoo emerged from the smoke, charging backwards towards them. Izumi looked at it in disbelief.

It was bright red, and Itachi was inside. He was panting heavily, and when their eyes met, he looked at her with concern as he discovered her injuries.

Aside from that, the enemies he was dealing with had become stronger than before.

Kan immediately opened his eyes, and immediately knew who it was by the sense of her chakra. "N-Naomi!?" Kan blurted out.

Izumi turned to him confused by the sudden call. Then, it appeared. From the smoke created by the wall, a large shadow emerged.

It was even larger than Itachi's susanoo.

What the hell happened in that room!?
