Ayame's eyes continued to throw daggers at Izumi, who smiled at her accomplishment of defeating her once more.

Izumi charged towards her without hesitation and attempted to punch Ayame again, whose reaction speed had increased.

Izumi's eyes narrowed as she realized she needed to find a new way to communicate with her. It would be more difficult to take her down now that her senses are sharper and she is truly focused on the battle.

Lighting began to appear from above, and Izumi immediately began to dodge it and attempt to flee with her Susanoo. Being hit by it would cause her to lose her footing and fall because the impact was so strong.

After avoiding them all, she kept her distance and tried to catch her breath.

She would used her Susanoo so many times and reached all of her limits, so there was no doubt she would hit her limit with this one sooner or later.

Ayame kept her distance as well, only glaring at her through gritted teeth. She devised her plan, attempting to escape Susanoo's range and outwit Sharigan.

"That damned freak! How does she come up with all of these ideas and then execute them so quickly!?" Ayame wondered as she panted.

With furrowed brows, she maintained a heavy gaze on Izumi, never looking away in case she was hit by one of her punches.

Izumi, on the other hand, had already devised a highly risky strategy.

She rested her fingers on her chin and thought deeply.

"I am almost at my limit with my Susanoo, but if I do the same attack as last time, she will lose another mark!" Izumi thought to herself, proudly.

Ayame charged straight at her with her lightning touch, almost hitting her Susanoo if Izumi had not looked up.

Quickly moving away and attempting to swing at her, Ayame leaped upwards, feeling as if she was attacking her from all directions at once!

Izumi grunted as her Susanoo took a hit. "She got to me because I was taken off guard! Dammit, I need to think of something, and fast!" Izumi pondered as she attempted to get Ayame far.

Then she felt it. The impact of her Susanoo. She had come to her limit.

Izumi's dark purple Susanoo vanished as she collapsed to the ground, coughing hard and clutching her chest tightly.

The burning sensation in her eyes persisted, and rubbing them hard did not help.

She opened her eyes and was met with blurry vision. Izumi gasped and looked around, hoping that nothing was actually happening.

After all, she did not mind when she noticed the blurriness when she first used the Susanoo, but it had only worsened. What does this mean for her current vision?

Looking up, she noticed a blurry figure running towards her, and then she felt herself being kicked.

She gasped as she fell to the ground and immediately attempted to stand up. Ayame looked down at her, disgusted. "Looks like you have finally reached your limit. After all, you were never a full-blooded Uchiha to begin with."Ayame replied coldly.

Izumi shifted her gaze to Ayame, narrowing her eyes at her statement.

Even after being punched so many times, Ayame decided to make some bold remarks about Izumi's lineage.

An abrupt cough startled them both, and Izumi felt as if her lungs were giving out on her right then.

Her palm covered her mouth, and when she opened her eyes slightly, she saw blood everywhere. Her eyes shook with fear, and she felt dizzy.

Were the aftereffects of using the Susanoo always so severe? She did not know and did not want to go into detail about it.

She had one goal in mind: to finally defeat Ayame!

Izumi stood up, using whatever strength she had left, and tried to remain focused on the opponent. However, it was impossible. It was all too blurry, and her vision seemed to be going black.

She had already used too much chakra. When she uses too much, she usually passes out.

Izumi is done; she has exceeded her limit.

Ayame chuckled at her situation. "Look how weak you are. Did you use too much chakra?" Ayame said as she dashed towards her.

Izumi's eyes widened, and she quickly dodged her attack. Taijutsu was the only way out of this situation until she was able to think clearly.

Random memories flooded Izumi's mind, causing her to be hit by Ayame and fall backward.

Thankfully, she landed. But it did not explain the random memories she was having now.

Random memories from the past invaded her mind.

Her missions with her squad, whenever she assisted someone in need, and eating dango with Itachi.

"No, why am I thinking about these things now? Get a grip, Izumi!" Izumi shouted to herself as she shook her head, attempting to focus.

Panting heavily, she returned to the battlefield and fought Ayame.

Taijutsu would be ineffective against Ayame, especially since her power is centered on her Kekki Genkai and all of her powerful jutsus. This was pointless, and she was wasting her energy-yet there she was, fighting hand-to-hand with her.

Izumi had had enough, and she decided that sacrificing her life here and now, even with only two marks, would leave her vulnerable to anyone else.

Ayame bolted towards her, frustrated, and Izumi vanished before her.

Her eyes widened, and she quickly looked around to find her. "What the hell!? Where did she go?"Ayame thought to herself as she searched for her.

Looking to her left, then right. Upwards, even looking for any indication that she had fled downwards.

Then she came to a realization. Izumi was just luring her into a trap. With that mind of hers, Ayame knew she had a trap set somewhere ready to catch her anywhere!

"Oh no you don't-" She jumped up, lifted her head, and her eyes widened when she saw Izumi above her.

Izumi kicked Ayame in an instant, and she was punched hard to the ground. She groaned again, this time from the intense pain, and her body felt on fire.

"N-No... It was not a trap after all!" Ayame thought to herself.

A kunai struck Ayame's heart, and she fell to the ground once more.

"Too easy... " Izumi pondered to herself, doubting her ability to win this match against her.

Her eyes widened as she looked to her left, at Ayame's new state.

She was floating, and her appearance was dramatically different from before.

And her aura seemed much more powerful than before.

Ayame carried daggers. Golden and sharp, they were ideal for hitting and stabbing her anywhere. Not only that, but her eyes looked like galaxies.

Stars and lightning began to surround Ayame, and Izumi realized this was the final battle.

Preparing herself, she reactivated her Susanoo and felt herself losing herself. All of the power she had regained was slowly drained, as was the life she had left.

But knowing she was in the final battle gave her an odd sense of peace.

Maybe she was about to die. But she would die as a hero.
