Chapter 6, Part 5

Evading all of his lighting, Itachi couldn't find an opening to hit Kuro. He was acting like a maniac now, desperate to kill him.

Itachi let out a groan. He was wasting time, and God knows how Izumi was doing. He made hand signs and threw shuriken at him, hoping for a new opportunity.

This time, he was determined to finally defeat Kuro. "Oh, you won't!" He yelled as he directed additional lighting. He prepared his lighting blade and launched at Itachi, only to be thrown back by Itachi's susanoo.

Kuro sweated at the sight, but he was not going to lose to him right now.

"Argh!" he exclaimed, summoning a giant elephant and shooting lightning at him.

Itachi immediately attempted to dodge it, but his susanoo was thrown back as a result. He attempted to hit the elephant with his blade but was stopped by one of Kuro's lightning strikes. "I told you! Itachi Uchiha! You can not beat me!" Kuro laughed.

Itachi's eyes narrowed in annoyance as he continued to swing his blade at the elephant.

His eyes widened when a risky idea came to mind: "Tsukuyomi..." Itachi pondered as he attempted to determine whether it was up to the task.

Itachi closed his right eye and prepared chakra for it. He kept using his blade, despite the damage it was doing to him, hoping to strike Kuro.

A massive amount of lightning began to build up from above, and he unleashed it all at him, sending him backward once more. "Damnit!" Itachi thought to himself as he attempted to get a handle on it.

"You are weak, just like that damned half-blood!" Kuro yelled as he used more lightning styles to strike Itachi.

He could feel Itachi's rage rising with every word he said.

But he still felt that it was not enough. It was not pushing him over the edge, and he was not getting the response he was looking for.

Kuro was at his limit; he had gone all out, and each jutsu he used was draining his chakra.

He gritted his teeth in frustration, and eventually used his trump card against him.

"I have had enough! Lighting style: electric void!" Kuro shouted.

A void of light appeared before Itachi, shocking him and destroying everything around them.

Itachi could feel himself being sucked in and did not know how else to get out of it.

He quickly constructed an attack with his susanoo and launched it into the void.

A huge light flashed between them, and everything before them was destroyed as if it were a war.

Kuro collapsed to the floor, exhausted and drained. He did not expect such a fight, especially with Itachi. He had heard rumors about his strength, but he never expected this move.

His eyes widened when he saw the blade strike him. Kuro turned from the blade to Itachi inside his susanoo.

He opened his eyes and finally released the Tsukuyomi on Kuro.

Kuro stood in a black-and-white world, and he saw himself chained. He looked around in terror and then saw Itachi, "W-What is this?" he demanded as Itachi approached him, wielding a lightning-filled sword. "This is my genjutsu, and you are underneath it. This is what happens when you threaten the person who means the most to me," Itachi said coldly, stabbing him.

Kuro screamed and felt the pain repeatedly. Now, for how long?

Three years.

Kuro finally passed out, eliciting screams throughout the room. He quickly sealed Kuro, and Itachi released his susanoo and fell to his knees, panting heavily.

He coughed up blood and wiped his mouth while keeping his left eye closed due to exhaustion from the genjutsu.

"It is over..." Itachi said to himself as he fell to the floor, attempting to muster the strength to stand up.

"Itachi!" Naruto yelled as he ran towards Itachi, helping him up. He looked at him, concerned, but then used his nine-tails power to assist and heal Itachi.

Naruto looked around the room nervously, noticing how badly damaged everything was. "Who did you fight to bring about such a disaster?!" Naruto asked with a nervous smile.

Itachi chuckled and muttered, "Do not worry about it, all that matters is that it is finally over..." as he tried to get back on his feet, only to be forced to fully heal.

Itachi looked at him, ashamed. "I apologize for putting you through this." Itachi smiled as he said, "Seems getting hurt is my new look."

Naruto smiled. "Izumi approached me a few days ago. More like she emerged from a lake and claimed to have been swimming. I may be dumb, but I am not dumb enough to know what she was up to," Naruto said, leaving Itachi perplexed by where this was going.

"She was watching you, Itachi. You were training while she was watching from afar..." Naruto calmly stated.

Itachi's eyes widened. So the person stalking him that day was actually Izumi.

"She wanted advice on how to communicate with you. How to get your friendship back to how it was, and boy let me tell you...Your friendship has grown into much more than that. You two are so deeply in love, you know?" Naruto stated, grinning at him.

Itachi's cheeks turned pink. Naruto finally rose when he noticed Itachi in a better state than before.

Naruto smiled. Itachi had no idea how he could smile with such a wide mouth. "The time has come for you to confess. Take her out once this is all over, and I guarantee you will be ecstatic!"

He smiled. "I plan on it," Itachi said as they both walked out the door.

"Now, let's end this!"

been busy the past few days so sorrrry once againz😭😭😭
the time has come for this story to slowly reach its end. I enjoyed writing this sm and I hope you all enjoyed reading it. these 2 r the best and it always pains me when I remember what Itachi really did to Izumi in the manga and anime but in the end he did it to protect Sasuke and the village😭

Anyways, chapter 7 will be released soon a long with its epilogue, so stay tuned for that !!!
