Chapter 6, Part 3

Kuro dropped down as the floor beneath them broke, letting out a loud shout. Itachi was now extremely enraged.

He was using everything in his body to punish Kuro for speaking so negatively about his friends, particularly Izumi.

As soon as they reached the floor, Itachi took a step back to catch his breath before preparing for a big battle. Kuro's head was covered in blood and he lay motionless on the floor.

Suddenly, a laugh broke the silence. Itachi's eyes widened with rage as Kuro laughed; what was so funny about this whole situation?

"Man, you Uchiha are insanely driven by love!" Kuro exclaimed as he stood up groaning. When he stood up, he took out his lighting blade and held it up to Itachi, his eyes filled with evil. "I apologize for what I said about her, but it was the truth. She was so weak when I told my men to beat her, and I was surprised at what she did to me!" Kuro said, bolting towards Itachi.

He could not block his blade in time with his kunai and had to try to stop all of his punches and kicks as well. "He is so fast!" Itachi mused to himself as he used his Sharingan to track his movements.

Itachi looked around and noticed the number of paper bombs implanted. His eyes widened as they all went off, destroying the room. But they both ignored it and focused solely on each other, blocking each other's taijutsu moves.

They both struck backward and retaliated with additional jutsus. Itachi maintained his distance and gestured for a fireball. Kuro gritted his teeth and demonstrated his own lighting style.

Lightning appeared from the ground, attempting to strike Itachi, but he avoided it and used his shuriken to trap Kuro against the ground. Kuro yelled in frustration and managed to get them off before being hit by a fireball.

They both stayed at a distance, breathing heavily. Kuro was amused and said, "You are the only person who has ever irritated me this much!" Kuro shouted as he expelled a massive amount of chakra from his body. Itachi's eyes widened as he saw how much lightning was coming his way.

"Oh god... " Itachi mumbled.

Izumi dashed down the halls with all of the women and children, making sure that the injured looked okay as well. She was able to build up enough chakra for minor fights, but nothing would compare to fighting Ayame.

The ceiling collapsed before Izumi, forcing her to flee and protect everyone.

As the smoke cleared, Ayame faced Izumi with clenched fists and anger. Her Hoshigan was activated, and she bolted toward Izumi, kicking her into a wall at high speed.

She gasped at the impact and collapsed to the floor, breathing heavily.

The women and children fled, leaving Ayame and Izumi alone in the hallways. "I have had enough of you!" Ayame shouted as she used her abilities to see into the future. Her eyes widened even more as she saw the results, but she refused to let it bother her any longer-she would change it.

Izumi rose from the ground and pulled out her kunai to defend herself. When Ayame saw this, she struck Izumi with her own, and Izumi quickly defended herself as Ayame used her eyes to cause Izumi to collapse due to visions.

Izumi immediately fell and gasped in response to the visions. Ayame stepped back and looked down at her, "Did you see it? The visions of your death and the death of your lover!" Ayame exclaimed before kicking her once more.

After colliding with another wall, she quickly stood up and regained her composure. She blocked Ayame's attack by using her fireball. Ayame only escaped with a lighting portal. Ayame appeared behind her and pushed her slightly, causing Izumi to look behind her before being punched hard and falling backwards.

"What the hell?!" Izumi thought to herself as she watched Ayame emerge from the portal slowly and with a chuckle.

She wiped the blood from her mouth and clutched her kunai tightly as she attempted to defend herself against Ayame's latest attack.

"Lighting: electric touch!" Ayame exclaimed as she dashed towards Izumi, attempting to touch her with lightning at her fingertips, "If any of those touch me, I will be weakened!" Izumi considered as she went into a defensive stance.

"Well, genjutsu it must be!" Izumi concluded to herself as she attempted to perform a genjutsu on her. It immediately failed and was touched with her electric touch, causing her to fall to the ground.

"Argh!" Izumi exclaimed as she attempted to fight it off. Ayame laughed evilly, "Genjutsu will not work on me; try to act smarter!"

Electricity shocked every part of Izumi's body, causing her to squirm. "I-I need to fight it!" Izumi muttered, trembling heavily.

All of the women and children watched the fight from a distance. Then, with rage, Ayame turned to them and said, "All of you-" Ayame was blasted against a wall, shocking everyone.

She collapsed to the floor, bleeding from the head, and smiling as she did so. "Wow, that was just unpredictable!" She exclaimed as she rose from her position.

Izumi gripped her fists, and around her was a dark purple Susanoo once more.

Both eyes were activated, and they were solely focused on the upcoming intense battle with each other.
