Chapter 7, Part 5

They both dashed to each other and clashed against one another's defenses.

Izumi watched Ayame closely as if she were prey.

Ayame, on the other hand, was already well aware of her Susaoo's capabilities and formidable defenses.

Both fell back, and Ayame quickly formed hand signs for one of her new Lightning-style jutsu.

A blade of lightning-the same as Kuro's-emerged from Ayame's hand, and she flew towards her with all her speed, hitting Izumi's Susano.

She fell back at its strength, but she wasted no time with such an attack and upgraded her Susanoo even further.

All of its bones were now armored and carrying daggers similar to Ayame's.

But what distinguished them was that they contained poison.

Ayame saw through it and made sure not to be struck by any of the daggers.

They both ran to each other again and started fighting.

They were both sweating as they dodged and threw. Invading and kicking, they were determined to win their battle!

Despite feeling as if she was losing her light, Izumi fought and pushed herself to the limit!

She screamed, unleashing the full potential of her Susanoo. Her Susanoo was not fully armored, and the jars contained poison.

Izumi panted and coughed up blood, but she refused to give up.

Ayame raged and used one of her most powerful jutsus to destroy everything in their path.

"Lighting style... THE VOID!" Ayame exclaimed.

Falling forward, Ayame was initially on her end. Losing her second mark was the end of it all, and her final mark was only for this purpose.

She was dying right now, and the only way to kill her assailant was to use her power.

As everything began to crumble, Ayame stood up and attempted to flee. Her lungs were on fire, and her eyes hurt. Blood poured from them, and she coughed up blood.

Turning around, she saw splatters of poison coming her way and dodged them as she tried to catch her breath.

Izumi saw everything in her path being destroyed by the strong void, but she figured that capturing and killing Ayame was the only way to save the capital!

She ran through all of the obstacles and dodged all of the boulders that were about to hit her.

Whenever she saw Ayame, she threw poison at her. But she always dodged.

It was as if Ayame had eyes in the back of her head; how the hell was she dodging without sensing or even looking at her?

Izumi stumbled and fell to the ground. She gasped as she used up all of the power from her Susanoo, and it all vanished.

Looking up, she saw a boulder about to fall on her.

Getting up quickly, she moved out of the way and used her remaining energy to sprint to Ayame, who was already dying.

However, she had no desire to die. Ayame must be dead!

She ran in either direction, dodging the boulders that were about to fall on her.

All the cuts and bruises bother her, but it will not matter if she does not go for the kill!

"Ayame, you damned bitch! I will kill you!" Izumi yelled as she retrieved shuriken and threw them at her.

Hearing this, Ayame became enraged and used the remainder of her power to send a dagger at Izumi.

She dodged it in time and did not realize she had sent another one.

This one hit a critical spot. Her abdomen.

She gasped in pain, and blood poured from her mouth.

Fighting through it, she did not pull out the dagger and instead ran towards her while also attempting to heal herself.

She held another of Ayame's daggers in her hand. She only needed the right aim to get her.

She fell to her knees again, and this time she noticed Ayame had done the same. Ayame was close to death. This was a perfect shot.

A boulder got in the way of Izumi's aim for Ayame, so she held back. But, looking up, she noticed another one.

Her eyes widened. She could not move. Too injured, weak, and depleted of chakra and strength.

But then it felt like the heavens called.

The boulder was destroyed, and the pieces flew everywhere.

Covering herself, she noticed Naruto had hit it.

Another boulder smashed into the one in front of her. The destruction caused by the collisions was immense.

When Ayame regained sight, she threw the dagger straight at Ayane's heart.

It landed, and she fell forward.

She lost her sense of self after that. Also, the void was beginning to fade.

However, this would not explain why the castle began to shake and collapse.

Smoke flooded the top, and Izumi sat through it all. She could not move. Her entire body felt paralyzed, and the wound in her abdomen was gradually killing her.

She would lose too much blood; she was going to die here.

Her vision gradually faded to black, but then someone grabbed her and lifted her out of the darkness.

Only the sounds of crashing and the sensation of being cold surrounded her body.

She has really reached the end.
