Sakura screamed when she heard the news.

"Y-You are pregnant!?" She asked, trying to process everything.

Ino, Hinata, Sakura, Tenten, and Temari looked at her, surprised by the news.

Izumi looked at them with flushed cheeks and only scratched her head. "Yeah, I am pregnant!" she repeated.

They all screamed with joy at the news.

Five months have passed since Itachi proposed to Izumi at the docks, and they have both always wanted to start a family.

And now they have finally accomplished their goal.

"That is amazing! I am very happy for both of you!" Tenten said, looking at her with flushed cheeks.

Izumi smiled at everyone's reactions. She did not expect them to shout that loudly, but what did she expect? Of course, they would react in that manner. She was the first of the group to give birth.

"So, how far along are you?" Ino asked as she sipped her tea.

Izumi considered the question while recalling the doctor's words. "About two months-" Ino spit out her tea as she spoke.

"Y-You are kidding?" Temari expressed surprise at her words.

Izumi gave them a nervous look. Of course, they would not have expected that; only a few months into their proposal, and she was pregnant so quickly.

Hinata chuckled, "Well, I hope everything goes well for you both. I wonder if it will be a boy..." Hinata spoke in a whispery tone.

Tenten shook her head, disagreeing. "No way! It is definitely a girl!" She stated that Temari disagreed, claiming it was a boy.

They all began arguing amongst themselves as they speculated on the baby's gender. Izumi simply stared at them, exhausted.

"By the way, does Sasuke know?" Sakura inquired, her gaze drawn to Izumi as the other girls argued.

Izumi looked at her with surprise. She had no idea Sasuke would find out he was an uncle. But, since she told Itachi first, she assumed Sakura would have heard from Sasuke.

"I thought Itachi had already informed him. Guess not, but I am sure he will be surprised to know!" Izumi stated with a slight smile.

Sakura smiled in response, and her gaze rose above Izumi's head, prompting her to do the same.

She met onyx eyes, which looked lovingly at Izumi.

She blushed at Itachi's intense gaze, and the girls immediately paused their argument to look at the loving couple in front of them.

"Well, hello, ladies. I believe you heard about Izumi's pregnancy!" Itachi spoke with a smile.

Ino shot daggers at Itachi, who just looked at her, perplexed. "Listen, I hope you did not force her into it at all!" Ino said as Itachi quickly defended himself.

Izumi could not help but chuckle at the scene, and Temari sighed as she told him about their earlier conversation.

"We are wondering whether it will be a boy or a girl. Honestly, I am on the boy's team-" Tenten cut her off by saying "girl."

Temari looked at her angrily.

Itachi laughed, "Oh! If that is the case, then I am definitely on Team Girl."

Temari looked at him with surprise. "What! Oh, come on, Izumi seems like a boy Mom; you can not be kidding!"

They all started arguing again until Izumi decided to interrupt the conversation. "It is going to be a boy," she announced, rubbing her stomach.

Everyone looked at her with surprise. "Huh? "How do you know!" Tenten asked, puzzled.

Itachi asked in her ear, "Is that what the doctor said?"

She shook her head and said no before smiling up at them again.

"Just a hunch, hehe," she replied, and they only sweated at her response.

"Well, we can not question a pregnant woman's instinct! Itachi, you look after her!" Temari spoke as she rose from the table and began waving goodbye to everyone.

When everyone left, it was just Izumi and Itachi walking down the street.

"A boy, right?" Itachi said as he considered the question. Izumi looked at him, perplexed.

As he reflected on this, he smiled slightly. "Whatever the gender, I know I will love them as much as I love their mother," Itachi spoke as he held Izumi's hand.

She blushed and smiled back at him.

They both smiled as they walked down the street back to their estate.
