I was relaxing in my home one late morning when there's a knock at my front door. I get up from the couch and open the door to an ANBU Black Op.
"May I help you?" I ask, blinking my brown eyes.
"Tsunade-sama wishes to see you for a mission," He replies.
"Okay. I'll head there right away," I respond, nodding my head. He Body Flickers away.
I leave the house and make my way to the Hokage tower. I knock on the door and Tsunade calls for me to enter. I was a little surprised to see my Genin there.
"You wanted to see me?" I ask, standing beside Kai.
Tsunade nods. "The four of you will be sent on a mission together. It's an A Rank one. You're to go to the Land of Stone to capture a rogue ninja that is known for transforming into their enemy and fooling them like that. They were last seen at an outpost town. You leave in fifteen minutes."
We agree and go home to prepare. I finish packing my cart before strapping Shoten to my left waist.
I then meet my Genin at the gate. "Are you all ready?" I ask. They nod their heads but a voice calls from behind me.
"Izayoi-chan!" I turn to see my husband. "Off on a mission?"
I nod my head as I reply, "We are. I don't know when we'll be back, though."
Kakashi comes up to me and says, "That's alright. Just be careful."
"We will be."
He leans forward and kisses my forehead through his mask. "Good luck," Kakashi tells us as he pulls back.
I smile as I say, "Goodbye, Kashi-kun." I then turn and leave for the Land of Stone with my Genin.

After we reach the outpost town and book an inn, my Genin and I start looking for this rogue ninja.
"What does this rogue ninja look like?" Amaya questions as we walk.
"Don't know," I reply. "It's hard to say because of the Transformation Jutsus they use all the time, so no one has ever really seen what they actually look like."
Kai complains, "Well, that'll make this mission even more difficult."
"I'm sure it won't, 'cause the enemy will probably try to look like one of us," Hiro says.
"Keep a sharp eye out," I warn my students. We search the outpost town and ask questions, but no one seems to have seen the rogue ninja, nicknamed the Copy Cat, similar to my husband.
It was nearly sunset when we stop for a break. Hiro and Kai lean against a building.
"This sucks! How hard is it to find someone like this?" Kai groans.
Before I could answer, someone who looks like Amaya walks up to us. "Looking for me, Leaf ninja?" They ask. They have a blue tinted spear strapped to their back.
The silver haired girl starts as she exclaims, "Me?!"
I swiftly unsheathe Shoten and swing fast at the imposter. They dodge as a wave of energy shoots out. It hits the ground in front of them.
"How dare you pose as my student!" I snap, glaring. "Reveal your true self now!"
The figure smirks before placing her hands in a hand sign. They're enveloped by a puff of smoke before transforming into Hiro. My Genin cry out.
"Hiro" goes to swing at me but I dodge and he swings out a kick. I dodge that too before swinging Shoten.
"Don't hurt me, Izayoi Sensei!" The imposter pleads in my students' voice, causing my blade to stop short. I stare back at "Hiro" before I'm sent flying backwards with a kick. I hit the wall of a building.
"Izayoi Sensei!!" Amaya, Kai and Hiro exclaim.
"Fire Style: Fire Punch," Says Hiro as he pulls back his right arm, flames around his fist. The imposter swerves to the side to avoid it before Kai sends out a bunch of arrows with his Ice Release: Shaping Jutsu.
The figure deflects them with her blue tinted spear.

Amaya blows out chakra enhanced bullets of water and one of them hits the enemy head on, making them grunt. There's a poof and the figure transforms into Kai.
Amaya pauses in making her next attack, only to receive a cut on her arm from the figure's spear. Amaya cries out as she clutches her arm.
"Amaya!" Mai exclaims before glaring at the enemy. He does hand signs and thrusts his arms forward, sending out lances made of ice.
The figure cuts through them with her spear before thrusting it at my student.
I was there to block it and give the enemy a dark look, before I change Shoten into the spear from my Robe of Yuen armor.
I clash my weapon against the enemy's and we exchange fierce blows.
Kai goes over to the other female member of our team as he asks in concern, "Amaya-chan, are you alright?"
She frowns at the pain as she clutches her bleeding arm and responds, "Y-Yes. Don't worry about me. It's just a scratch."
She winces as Kai mutters, "It looks like more than just a scratch."
I slash my spear across the front of my opponent and they stumble back. I thrust it at them, pushing my opponent back further.
"You got this round, Scarlet Thread, but next time, you won't be so lucky," The enemy hisses angrily at me before Body Flickering away.
Hiro scowls, running up to me, "They got away! We have to go after them, Izayoi!"
I say calmly as I flick the blood off my sword and return Shoten to normal, sheathing it, "No. They'll be back. For now..." I turn to the silver haired girl and Hiro follows my gaze. "... we need to see to Amaya's wound."
