Izayoi's P. O. V:

I was able to roll out of the way in time but Yozoraoka sends out another Blade of Wind Jutsu that cuts into me before I thrust my sword with immense speed and plunge it into Yozoraoka. We remain there for a moment before I pull out my katana and she collapses.

I turn my head and see Nanashi also dead nearby, the Chidori fading from Kakashi's left hand.

I drop to my knees as Shoten returns to normal and collapse. Kakashi pulls down his headband and rushes up to me before pulling me into his arms. "Izayoi-chan, are you okay?!"

"I-I'm fine," I manage to respond before passing out.

🗡️🗡️🗡️

It's been a week since our fight with the samurai and Kakashi and I have fully recovered. My armor has also been fully repaired.

"I thank you, Leaf ninja. Because if you, both myself and my village are now safe," Says Toshiro.

"It's alright, Toshiro-sama," I say, back in my traditional armor.

"I hope you have a safe journey back to the Hidden Leaf," He says, smiling. Kakashi and I bow before we take our leave and return home.

Tsunade was pleased with our reports and dismissed us soon after, telling Kakashi and I to stay on standby till our next mission.

The next week or two fly by as we do our usual missions and tasks in taking care of our children.

One morning, while sitting in a tree with him, Kakashi tells me, his arms wrapped around my waist, "I hear Naruto is leaving this morning to go train with Jiraiya Sensei."

"Really?" I ask. He nods.

"To prepare for when the Akatsuki make their move on about two years."

"Hm," I hum thoughtfully, leaning back against Kakashi. "Maybe we should do some training of our own, to protect our students."

"Sounds good," Kakashi says. "We should begin tomorrow."

"Actually, I was thinking of going to train with Hideki," I admit, gaining his attention.

"Why?" Kakashi asks, no doubt remembering what happened the last time.

"Because after reuniting with him a few months ago, I came up with an idea for an armor."

"Okay. Maybe I should go with you," Kakashi offers.

"You don't have to. I doubt Hideki would pull that same stunt as last time after you beat him bloody and nearly tried t kill him," I say assuringly. "I'll be fine, I promise."

"Alright. Do you know when you'll be back?" Kakashi asks, burying his face in my neck.

"Maybe in about a year?" I'm not too sure yet, but I'll let you know when I leave Arashigakure," I say.

Kakashi kisses my neck a few times and I close my eyes at the feeling. I'd leave for Arashigakure later, for me, I'm enjoying this moment with my husband.
