Hi folks!

We've never really seen angry Levi in this fic. That changes today. 😈 (Don't worry, he's not angry at us lol)

Erwin felt like he was leading two rabid dogs held back by thin leashes into the university.

Y/N had declined Levi's offer to accompany them. The last three weeks had been spent contacting the blackmail victims of Y/N's father, and Y/N had debated the entire time. Levi wanted her to have the opportunity to confront her father if she wanted to, but in the end she declined. Y/N told Levi she didn't want to give her father the satisfaction of seeing her again, but in reality, she didn't want Levi to see her father belittle her. She may be an adult now, but she felt as small as a child around him. The five year-old girl cowering in her room, listening to her father throw things around their house after her mother's funeral took over her body every time she was around him.

So she stayed behind, reunited with her six body guards while Erwin did his best to rein in Hange and Levi.

He had advised them to approach the members of the military police that had been blackmailed last. They would certainly be the hardest to convince, and they needed them on their side the most. Thankfully, his advice had been sound, and behind Erwin and his two beasts, there were four MPs there to arrest Y/N's father.

The group followed behind Hange who lead the way through the hallways and up the stairs. According to Hange, Y/N's father had gotten a very convenient promotion a few years ago from professor to department head. He had a large office in the main building of the university now, and just before his office was an alcove with a young woman sitting at a desk. Her loose curls were draped over her left shoulder. She wore eyeliner and a deep lip stain that matched the color of her pant suit.

At the sound of their approach, the woman looked up from the calendar she had been writing in. Whether it was the shared feral look in Levi and Hange's eyes or the mere presence of three Scouts and four MPs, the woman stood up from her chair when she saw them. She immediately threw out her hand to try and stop them.

"Excuse me! You can't go in there," she protested while she moved around the desk to stand between them and the door.

Erwin yanked Levi back by his invisible leash by answering before he could. "Is the professor in?"

"Y-yes, but," she stammered. "You need an appointment first!"

Erwin did his best to discreetly touch the small of Levi's back without letting the secretary or the MPs see his movement. The brief, featherlight touch was all Erwin needed to remind Levi of the point he had repeatedly emphasized on the ride over: keep it together and let Erwin take the lead.

Levi stiffened and pressed his lips together, choking down the snarky remark he was about to bark at the woman.

"No, we don't," Erwin answered in a calm, leveled voice. "Now step aside, or my colleague will remove you."

Levi's clenched scowl melted into a sneer at Erwin's threat. He raised an eyebrow as if encouraging the woman to ignore Erwin.

The woman scoffed and, with a roll of her eyes, stepped to the side.

"What the hell is going on out there?" A booming voice hollered from inside the office.

Levi and the professor turned the doorknob at the exact same second, but the door opened inward and the professor couldn't match Levi's aggression. The professor was knocked off balance by the force at which Levi opened the door, and he stumbled back until his legs hit his desk. His hands flung out to his side to catch himself.
