The snarls don't sound dangerous? They sound familar?
I furrow my eyebrows again. Slowly looking around the gyrosphre. I grin widely.
"BUMPY!! HAHA!" I laugh, quickly running over. "Bumpy hi!! You've gotten so big haha!!" I go onto my knees hugging her tightly.
"How do you even know that's the same dinosaur?" Kenji asks.
"Her big head bump. Dr Wu said she's assemetrical. But he's wrong that it's bad. There's nothing wrong with bring different. Or bumpy. Or getting tired of an overly thrilling book. And maybe if her parents had listened to her. She wouldn't be lost in a jungle getting attacked!" I ramble on, before hugging her tightly again.
"As nice as this reunion is. Shouldn't we keep moving?"
I start ignoring everyone as I play with bumpy. We basically decided that we are going to the genetics lab. I turn to everyone as they start walking.
"But what about Bumpy?" I ask.
"Dude she's a dinosaur. She belongs out here" kenji says.
"And she will just slow us down. Come on" I turn to bumpy who nuzzles into my chest.
I huff. Before standing up.
"Come on bumpy." I start pulling her. Jesus she is heavy. "Come on. We gotta... get... moving. Walk"
I groan but continue dragging her. Being further away from everyone else.
"Shhh, shhh be quiet"
"Ben" I hear. I scream, quickly pushing her into a push gently. I turn to the others crossing my arms.
"Heyyy..How's it hanging..dudes?"
"Ben, are u hiding bumpy in that bush?" Darius asks.
"Whaat. Pfft. No. No way. The jungle makes all sorts of weird noises" I smile. Before suddenly getting tripped off my feet landing on the floor, bumpy jumping infront of me. "How did she get hereee"
"We don't have time for this. People are getting eaten. Bumpy is to slow"
"Maybe she can run fast can't she darius?"
"Maybe when there older. But she's just.."
Then bumpy flops on the floor, suddenly starting to snore. I face palm.
"Wow. Total speed demon. Say goodbye ben" Kenji chuckles then they all continue walking. I groan more. Before standing up, accidently waking her up
"No! You say hello. Because Bumpy is coming with us. So there!"
"Ben you're not thinking this through. Bumpy is to slow" Brooklyn tells me.
I huff, looking around.
"Well then we will put her in the van!"
"What van?" Sammy asks. I point over to it.
"That one!"
