"And there's a jet-black crow droning on and on and on

Up above our heads droning on and on and on."

As they were dragged to the drawing room, Y/N could hear voices coming from it, ones Y/N wished he wouldn't hear so soon. He kept his head hanging low, afraid Bellatrix might recognise him.

The drawing room dazzled after the darkness outside, the crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling casting light upon them. The voices Y/N had heard died down and he saw Leonora and Draco stiffen up at the sight of him.

Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy rose from their chairs in front of the marble fireplace.

'What is this?' asked Lucius.

'They say they've got Potter,' said Bellatrix. 'Draco, come here.'

Greyback forced the prisoners to turn again so as to place Harry directly beneath the chandelier. Draco stood up reluctantly and approached them, his eyes shifting from Harry to Y/N, who was panicking now.

'Well, boy?' rasped the werewolf, dropping Procyon's limp body on the nearest armchair.

Leonora stood up and went over to her dog, running a hand through his fur. Y/N saw a look of relief spread on his twin's face as he felt the dog's breathing. Leonora walked back to where she was sitting.

Out of the corner of his eye, Y/N watched Harry avoid eye contact with Draco, but knew either way that there was no way to hide their identities any longer. He caught sight of himself in the mirror above the fireplace: the red highlights in his hair had turned to H/C, and his eye colour was different, as well. Something about his face looked different, but he could still recognise himself, and he was sure Draco and Leonora would too.

'Well, Draco?' said Lucius, sounding avid. 'Is it? Is it Harry Potter?'

'I can't - I can't be sure,' said Draco. He was keeping his distance from Greyback, and seemed scared of looking at Harry.

'But look at him carefully, look! Come closer!' insisted Lucius. 'Draco, if we are the ones who hand Potter over to the Dark Lord, everything will be forgiv-'

'Now, we won't be forgetting who actually caught him, I hope, Mr Malfoy?' said Greyback menacingly.

'Of course not, of course not!' said Lucius impatiently. 'Draco, look properly, that's his scar, isn't it?'

Draco's expression was full of reluctance and fear as he came closer to inspect Harry.

'I don't know,' he said, and he walked away towards the sofa, where Leonora sat, staring at Y/N. Y/N wished she wouldn't.

'What about the Mudblood, then?' growled Greyback.

The Snatchers forced the prisoners to swivel around again, so that the light fell on Hermione instead.

'Wait,' said Narcissa sharply. 'Yes - yes, she was in Madam Malkin's with Potter! Look, Draco, isn't it the Granger girl?'

'I... maybe...'

Y/N stiffened up and stared dead at Draco, shaking his head ever so slightly. Draco noticed that and his voice faltered. Leonora cleared her throat and shifted in her seat.

'Can't be sure,' muttered Draco.

'But it is her!' said Narcissa, coming closer to the bound prisoners. 'So, that's Granger, Potter-'

'But then, that's the Weasley boy!' shouted Lucius, striding around the bound prisoners to face Ron. 'And... Hang on-'

He stopped in front of Y/N, whose heart was beating so fast he was afraid it would be heard and betray him. He kept staring at the ground, his palms sweating. He felt Harry's hand brush up against his fingers.
