Y/N was nestled warmly under the blankets the next morning. Sunlight was blazing in through the window and Y/N buried his face into Harry's chest to avoid the light and fall back asleep.

Barely two minutes later, however, there was a knock on the door and Ron's voice sounded on the other side.

'Y/N, are you awake?' he called.

'No,' Y/N called back, yawning.

'Well, wake up, Mum says we have to get on with cleaning the drawing room after breakfast,' said Ron.

'All right...' mumbled Y/N, but he didn't make the slightest effort to get up.

'And have you seen Harry?' Ron asked.

'Er-'

Y/N pulled back from Harry and looked at him. He was already awake and staring at the door, but when Y/N moved, Harry turned his eyes to him. Slowly, gradually, blood rushed up to Harry's face and Y/N felt himself blush too.

They simply looked at each other for a while. They were cuddling, legs entangled and arms around each other. Harry's hair was even more messed up than usual and his eyes looked very sleepy, only half-opened. Y/N felt like his heart was going to explode but he remained impassive.

'Y/N?' Ron's voice called. 'Did you fall back asleep?'

'No, no, I'm awake,' said Y/N, looking away from Harry. 'Uh, no, I haven't seen Harry anywhere...'

'Right,' said Ron, sounding a bit suspicious. 'Well, if you do see him, tell him his breakfast's in the kitchen.'

Y/N waited until Ron's footsteps died away in the hall before letting out a soft sigh. Harry wasted no time and pulled Y/N closer to him again, planting a warm kiss on his forehead.

'Morning,' said Harry, his voice gruff from sleep. Y/N smiled widely and ruffled his hair.

'Morning, Harold,' whispered Y/N, planting a firm kiss on his cheek.

He sat up and stretched extensively, but before he could swing his legs off the bed, Harry wrapped his arms around Y/N's waist and held him down.

'What?' said Y/N, looking down at the raven-haired boy.

'Just one more minute of cuddles,' muttered Harry.

'But you heard Ron...' said Y/N, stroking Harry's hair back.

'I know, but just one, one minute,' Harry pleaded.

'You know,' said Y/N, a small smirk on his face. 'I heard Tonks got croissants-'

Harry sat up so fast he almost knocked his head against Y/N's, who dodged right in time. Harry's eyes were wide and he had a grin on his face.

'Really?' said Harry excitedly, already getting up from bed and grabbing his glasses from the bedside table.

'Er - maybe,' said Y/N guiltily, getting up too. 'You'll have to find out-'

Without a second thought, Harry bolted out of the room, leaving Y/N laughing heartily at his behaviour.

Fifteen minutes later, when Y/N went down to the kitchen, it was to find a grumpy Harry sitting at the table, eating buttered toast and marmalade. Y/N sat down next to him and said, 'Morning', before starting to eat his own breakfast.

Harry glared at Y/N and then said, 'You lied to me.'

'Hm?'

'There are no croissants,' Harry muttered.
