Today I start my new position as a journalist, and I'm excited! I've been waiting my whole life for this, and now it's here. The only downfall of this job is working with a partner. I don't do partners, I do independent work. Whoever it is needs to know that I run the show.
I have to be in the office at 8:30 to meet my partner there at 9:00. Apparently from what Sherry told me, they will be making all of the appointments, deadlines, times, etc. I hate being other people's time, so we're gonna have to talk about this.
"Babe, wake up! I know you have a busy schedule, but I'm about to leave and I need you up and ready in 10 minutes. You're taking me to work." I tell Spencer as he rubs his eyes.
"What? Kimberly, you know practice ran late last night and I have a 4-hour scrimmage today. You have a car baby, I believe in you, and you'll be great! I'll see you when you get home." He tells me as I roll my eyes.

"You're not being a supportive fiancée. You know I'd drop everything for you, and you can't even drive me to work. I feel like you don't love me." I tell him as he sighs and gets out of bed.
"Kim, I do love you and I support you 100%. If it's your heart's desire, I will drive you to work. I want you to feel comfortable on your first day, so if this is what I have to do to do that, then give me 10 minutes." He tells me as I smile.

"YAY! Thanks babe! I'll be downstairs waiting." I tell him as I kiss his cheek and head downstairs.
He's so gullible sometimes. I can drive myself to work for all I care. He acts like football is so damn demanding that he can't do anything. He's so lazy. I see I'll have to teach him a lesson if he keeps it up, I can't have that when we're married. He needs to hurry because I need to make the best possible impression I can.
SPENCER POV
EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING. She does the same thing. She's manipulative and I'm getting tired of it. Football is already hard and trying to please her is harder. I love her, I do but this is getting out of hand. She's more than capable of doing half the stuff she asks me to do.
