As I pull up to the restaurant, I have a gut feeling that something is just not going to go right. I can't pinpoint what it is exactly, but I know that it's not going to be good. I haven't spoken to Lauren's parents in over 4 months, so the fact that they are okay with meeting me says something.
I walk into the restaurant as the hostess leads me to a private room in the back. I see 2 more chairs laid out which only makes me wonder who else would possibly be coming. It could be her son and someone else, but I bet asking won't hurt.
"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. London, It's so good to see you all," I say as I sit in the chair across from them.
"Nice to see you too Jerome. Just waiting for the others to get here, and then we will get started." Mrs. London says with tears in her eyes.

"If you don't mind me asking, who else is coming?" I ask as Mrs. London checks her phone.
"Don't worry about it, honey. They will be here at any second." She says right as Spencer and Olivia walk in.
I'm not surprised that they were the ones that were occupying these chairs, but I am not ready to talk to them. If I had known, I would've stayed at home. Now that they are here maybe Olivia will fess up and tell the truth about what happened.
OMNISCIENT POV
"Looks like they're meeting with the parents," Person #1 states as Person #2 looks through the binoculars.
"Fuck. This wasn't meant for the other one, it was meant for the Baker chick, but why?" Person #2 asks as Person #1 moves to get a better look.
"I don't know, it was the boss's orders. What he says we do, but it looks like we got the wrong person, wait, is that Spencer James, even better." Person #1 states as the phone rings.

SPENCER POV
The last thing I expected was Jerome to be here. He's the one who bashed Lauren's parents so badly and caused Lauren so much pain to the point where her parents were demanding her to leave. So, it's shocking that they are all in a room together.
I can only imagine what the London's are going through. Losing their only daughter, the one that they relied on for everything, the one that gave them their first grandchild, and the one that proudly carried her last name.
