LAUREN POV

AFTER DINNER

"So...you and Spencer, what was that all about? I saw how you looked when you came back from dinner." I tell Liv as we get into the car.

Now that dinner is officially over and done with, I can get all of the juicy details of the conversation that she and Spencer had. She can deny it all she wants, but she's still in love with him, and we all see it.

"Nothing. Mom just wanted us to talk...and we did. We laid out some cards on the table, and we're going to continue that talk at lunch tomorrow." She tells me as I look at her.

"Lunch? Girl

"Lunch? Girl...do you need me to come with you 'cause you know I will. I'm happy you're talking through this but that miscarriage was all his fault. Don't forget that." I tell her as we pull out of the driveway.

The miscarriage hurt all of us but Liv and I especially. She's always wanted to be a mother, it was her dream. Soon after the break-up with Spencer, she found out she was pregnant..and we all couldn't be happier. When it came time to tell him, he blocked her on everything and wanted nothing to do with her.

"I know Lo, I know. I can't blame him for that though. It was all me. I wasn't in the right headspace or mindset to carry a baby, so when the miscarriage happened, I couldn't bring myself to blame him." She tells me as we continue our drive.

"I won't fight you on this because it's your body and you know it better than anyone, but he's the one who made you feel like you did Livvie...I'm telling you this because I love you and don't want you hurt again." I tell her as she smiles at me.

"I love you more and I appreciate you for just being there and not judging

"I love you more and I appreciate you for just being there and not judging. I know it can be tough sometimes, but you've stuck by my side and I will forever remember you for it. Now, lunch tomorrow, I'll tell you how it goes, but just lay off on him a little bit. He's changed." She tells me as I nod.
