The deadline for my next article is Wednesday and it's currently Thursday. I sent it to the editor-in-chief so she could edit it, but she hasn't gotten back to me, and I need it for so much more. I wasn't supposed to be in the office today, but my boss needed me for something.
I should be getting ready right now, but Mr. James here isn't feeling the best and all he wants to do is cuddle. I love him to pieces, but the faster I can get through with work, the quicker I can come back home to him.
"Babe, you have to let me go. It'll be quick, I promise," I tell him as I start getting out of bed.
"Nope, I don't want to. You say that but it's going to be another hour, so why not keep you here...with me," He says sarcastically as he pulls me back into bed.
"That's not how it works, buddy. How about this? I'll call Shelby and see if she can meet with me over the phone." I tell him as he nods his head and we kiss.

I make my way to the closet and get ready for the day. Truly, I didn't want to go in today either, so my hopes and wishes are praying that they come through and she can tell me whatever she needs to tell me over the phone.

I am so glad that we're doing good as a couple, and I wouldn't change it for the world. We're making our debut at the annual pre-dinner before Spence's game on Sunday. We both feel that it's the right time, for all I know we could be getting married sooner rather than later.
SPENCER POV
It sucks that I feel this way, but hey, if I get the excuse to lay up under Olivia Marie Baker, I am fine with that. I wouldn't have it any other way. Since we're making our relationship public on Saturday...what better day to propose, right?
It might seem sudden or rushed, but Liv is the woman I want to spend my life with. I had to go through all of these hurtful, unloving, and noncommitted relationships to discover that. It took a minute, but we're here now.
