SPENCER POV
"There's been an accident and we need you in the locker room immediately." The medical team states as I get up and leave.
I look around and don't see Liv or Lauren anywhere, and my heart can't help but drop when I find out that the accident has something to do with them. Liv and I just got engaged and I can't lose her this quickly, please don't let it be her.
"Can you tell me anything related to what's going on? Is my fianceè Olivia okay?" I ask as she shrugs.
"All I know is that a female has been shot, we have no name as of right now, but she was on the sidelines. She had dark curly hair, and there was some altercation between some guy that led to this, but once we get to the locker room, stadium police will explain more." The lady says as we continue walking.
As we make it to the locker room, I see about 3 police officers, which makes my heart start pounding. I have no idea what they're about to say and all I care about now is if my fianceé is okay.
25 MINUTES LATER
"Baby! Oh, thank god! I'm sorry I left, and I know I scared the hell out of you." Olivia says as I walk into the waiting room and she hugs me.
"No, don't apologize. You did nothing wrong. I'm just glad that you're okay. What happened?" I ask her as we take a seat.
When the police officer told me she was okay and came out unharmed, I was so relieved, but once he told me that Lauren was the one who ended up getting shot, my heart ached as well. She's like a sister to me, and Jerome has no clue.
OLIVIA POV
I'm at a loss for words. It all happened so fast. All she was trying to do was defend me, and now she's in the surgery room at the hospital fighting for her life. I don't know what I'd do without my best friend, I can't imagine life without her.
