JEROME POV 

Practice was rough. With us having a game on Saturday, we all need to lock in and the only person who isn't is Spencer. I know he has a lot on his mind, but he needs to get it together. That's my brother, so I make my way over to talk to him.

"Hey, bro. What's up? You're usually laser-focused and today you were off your game." I tell him as he sighs. 

"I know. I was just thinking about how much easier life would be if Olivia were in it. I love Kimberly, but I can't stop thinking about how much I hurt Olivia. I said some hurtful shit, accused her of something she didn't do, and then walked out on her. I will forever regret that." He says as I think back to that night.

FLASHBACK 

"Spencer please listen to me, it's not what it looks like," Liv says as she sees Spencer enter the office 

Lauren and I saw what unfolded on the cameras and were shocked. Nathan tried to kiss Liv. and Spencer walked in. He was furious and we did all we could to hold him back, but he wouldn't let us 

"HOW COULD YOU OLIVIA..AFTER EVERYTHING WE'VE BEEN THROUGH! YOU KISS SOMEONE ELSE!" He yells making her flinch. 

"Spencer....please. Let me explain-" NO" He cuts her off and storms out of the room.

He waits in the living room for Liv to come out of the small office Lauren had in the apartment. It was cute, but watching everything unfold was ugly, and I mean ugly. Liv walked straight to him as he looked into her eyes and said the most hurtful thing he possibly could. 

"You know what...fuck what you have to say. You're a lying, cheating whore who doesn't know what she wants in life. You're dead to me. It's over...WERE DONE!" He says as he walks out and Liv falls onto the couch sobbing and Lauren goes to comfort her. 

END OF FLASHBACK 

"I bet you do man. You were out of place and that night when you came over and saw what happened. Lauren had spent over 3 1/2 hours trying to calm Liv down because you hurt her. Hence why Lauren was furious when she came out of the bedroom." I tell him as he sulks in guilt. 

"Shit. If I would've heard her out, things would've gone differently. Look I gotta get out of here and go get Kim, but I'll be focused next practice, I'll hit you later." He tells me as we dab each other up. 

Right as he leaves, I text Liv and make sure we're still on for dinner. I miss my sister and want to spend time with her...maybe get her blessing so I can propose to Lauren. She's been my day one and I want her as my wife. 

LAUREN POV 

I miss my girl! It feels so empty without her here, but the good news..my deadline got pushed up a few days, so I will be able to fly out to Texas to surprise my bestie. I know she's nervous so anything to help her. 

I know that she's meeting Jerry for dinner tonight...so that should be fun. I reminded her this morning how amazing and gorgeous she is and that she's got this...journalism has always been her dream and now she's fulfilling it.
