The anger in Jerome's face is apparent. I know he wants answers, and I am not afraid to give them to him. Lauren was my friend, and she was his first love, so he deserves to know what happened.
I look at Spencer as he leads Jerome over to where I'm standing. I hate that we are in this situation, and I quite literally feel like throwing up. Telling him this news will be harder than I thought, and I hope I don't cry.
"Olivia, what happened?" He asks as he stops directly in front of me while looking me in the eyes.

"We were on the sidelines when we were approached by this guy, and he started flirting with me. Lauren stepped in and told him to back off, and he went bananas. He shot Lauren and then ran off." I told him as I could see the steam coming out of his head.
"What do you mean she stepped in? You couldn't defend yourself?" He asks as I look down at the ground, guilt getting the best of me.

"I did. We were going back and forth until it got to the point where Lauren knew she needed to say something, and when she did, he...shot her. I- I am so sorry, Jerome." I tell him as he scoffs.
"Sorry? Olivia, you're the goddamn reason as to why she is not here. If she didn't say anything, she would've been here." He told me as every twinge of guilt hit as I ran to the nearest bathroom.
I never meant for this to happen, and if I did, I would sacrifice my own life for her. She's been here with me through so much, and if anything, I should've been the one that was shot. He was flirting with me not her, I don't blame Jerome. Hell, maybe it was my fault.
SPENCER POV
I cannot describe the situation I am in right now. I love Jerome to pieces, but I love Olivia even more. I know Jerome is hurting, but he was a little harsh to Olivia. I know that he blames her, but she had no idea that was going to happen, so I am hoping after we talk for a bit, everything will simmer down.
