HER POV

"What the hell do you think you are doing," Shaurya said looking at us.

He was glaring at Daksh and his hand over my arms. I looked over to Daksh and could easily witness anger rushing over his eyes. He clenched his jaw looking at him and fisted his palm after leaving my arms.

I could sense something terrible happening anytime soon. But this was not the place for fights, what if his cousins saw it? I quickly looked around but no one from the family was there, they would soon arrive.

My husband stepped forward to him with very calm steps and Shaurya looked furious too though I didn't know the reason behind his anger.

"What the hell is your problem?" Daksh asked.

"You cannot hurt her like that," Shaurya responded.

"And who are you to order her husband," Daksh said, raging in anger.

Shaurya clenched his jaw and stepped forward looking him in the eyes.

"She is not to be hurt, if you can't care for her, leave her," he said in a low voice.

It looked as if he was warning him. But who is he to warn my husband? Who gave him the right to say a word in between us?

Suddenly Daksh landed a punch right on his face making him stumble back in his steps. It was getting scary for me now. What was happening, and why were they so eager to fight?

Before I could reach him Shaurya tried to hit him with his fist but Daksh took hold of his hand quickly and prepared another punch to land on his face.

"Dakshh!!" I called out loudly before he could hit him

They were grown men. How could they behave so recklessly?

I walked up to them and pushed down my husband's arm making him look at me.

He looked at me and closed his eyes thinking what he was about to do here. He quickly pushed himself away from him and ran his hand through his hair.

I looked at Shaurya and he tried to look away.

"Shaurya do not get me wrong but he is my husband and has every right on me that I gave him myself. Whatever happens between us is our personal matter and you have no say in it." I said clearing his doubts.

"I was just worried he was hurting you," he said looking at me.

"He is my husband, he will never hurt me. Also, it's not your place to worry about me." I said and he lowered his eyes, nodding lightly.

I looked at my husband biting his lower lip to hide his smile. It was making me angry now. How could he just start violence so easily?

"Both of you are grown men and not young adults anymore. You should be using your brains better than your fists. How could you start a fight in the middle of the road over something like this." I said and they both looked down in embarrassment not speaking a word.

Their silence was making me more angry. I gave a disappointed look to my husband and walked back to the car.

I tried to open the door but it was locked. I was surly burning red in frustration right now. I huffed, closing my eyes and heard the sound of the door unlocking.

I opened my eyes and looked over at him and found him giving me a smirking smile. I rolled my eyes at his act and opened the door and sat inside. He joined in and started the car.

"So we're not waiting for Tara anymore?" He said and I immediately looked at him.

He laughed a little looking at me and started driving. I didn't talk to him the whole ride although he tried to divert my mind but I was not giving in.
