HER POV

"Aap humse shaadi kyu kar rahe hai?" I asked.

(Why are you marrying me)

"Mohabbat hai tumse aur kis liye?" He replied.

(I'm in love with you, what else?)

I shook my head.

"Woh to humse milne k baad. Aap yahan aaye kyu?" I asked.

(That happened after you met me. Why did you come here in the first place?)

"Tumse milne, tum chhor kar jo gyi thi hume," he said after a calculative pause.

(To meet you, you left me)

"Aap humse kuch chhupa rahe hai?" I asked.

(Are you hiding anything from me?)

He stared into my eyes and shook his head.

I placed his right palm over my head.

"Bataiye," I asked.

(Tell)

His eyes showed little weakness. Not a word came out of his mouth.

He removed his hand, pulled me, and hugged me tightly, inhaling a sharp breath. I could feel his hot breath on my cheeks while my heart was not at peace.

"Hum par bharosa hai?" He asked.

(You trust me?)

I nodded lightly not knowing what to say.

"Hamari majboori ko dhokebaazi mat samjhna" He said, kissing my forehead.

(Do not misinterpret my helplessness with betrayal)

I closed my eyes feeling his warmth and hugged him clutching his shirt.

"Daksh," I called

"Hmmm" He replied

"Hum aapka intezaar karenge. Jaldi aaiyega" I said trying hard to control my tears from falling.

(I'll be waiting for you. come back soon)

He broke the hug and cupped my cheeks with his big palms.

"Apni dulhan lene to aana hi padega," he said.

(I will have to come, for my bride)

He gazed at my eyes and then at my lips, biting his lower lip slightly he leaned in for a kiss.

I immediately put fingers on his lips and he looked at me knitting his eyebrows.

"Ab sab shadi k baad" I said.

(Now everything after the wedding)

He held my fingers and kissed them looking at me and making me nervous.

"Shaadi ke baad sab kuch?" he asked, smirking at me.

(After the wedding, everything?)

I realised what he meant and it felt like words were stuck in my throat. I shook my head trying to tell him something. But my red cheeks responded the other way.

He kissed my forehead smilingly and we hugged for a few more minutes.

Later I returned to my room, and those thoughts clouded my mind and I do not know why I could not tell Daksh about it.

It is not like I do not trust him but everything looked like a puzzle even after spending days with him. He found me after 11 months, and that too coming here with a marriage proposal. He must have known about me.
