HER POV
"Radhika, is he asleep?" I heard someone entering.
He quickly hid behind me pushing me to face Madhuri bhabhisa.
Embarrassment ran through my face. I bit my lip not knowing how to react in this situation. I looked at the baby and he was asleep.
"Oh I'm so sorry," I heard bhabhisa.
I shook my head but she stepped forward to the baby and carried in her arms gently.
"I'm sorry I just came here to take him back," she said, hiding her smile.
I could not utter a word. I didn't know what to say or how I should explain my situation. He was so confident a couple of minutes ago and just look at him now hiding behind me.
"Bhabhisa actu-" she cut me off smilingly.
"It's okay he is asleep anyway and also join us for dinner when you both are done," she said and turned to leave.
I clutched the bedsheet due to embarrassment biting my lip.
"I'm closing the door for you," she teased before closing the door and left.
I sighed and facepalmed and felt him straightening up behind me.
"What happened? Why did bhabhi-sa leave?" he asked in an innocent tone.
I turned to look at him, peeking my gaze with slight anger because of what he did. And he was not showing any hint of remorse. He was behaving as if nothing happened in here.
"Don't you know?" I said pointing my finger at him angrily.
He looked at my finger and then at my eyes and again at my finger pointing right at his face.
"Are you sure about this?" He said in a serious tone, challenging me about my solidity of pointing at him.
But I would not back down either. If he was full of himself then I also had significant ego. And what's done is done. I'm not taking it back.
"Definitely," I said, matching his demeanour.
He looked into my eyes strictly with no emotion, trying to warn me about my action. And I would be lying if I say it did not scare me a little. But I was too late to back down.
He looked at my finger clenching his jaw lightly and suddenly within a second he lunged over my finger with his mouth and bit it between his teeth.
"Aaahh" I cried a little when he bit over my finger slightly.
I pulled away my finger and blew some air over it while he burst out laughing.
"Hahahahaha," he laughed, laying over the pillows.
Unbelievable!
Who could tell this hulk man had a child-like personality in him? How childish is his behaviour, I really could not comprehend.
I blew on my fingers a couple of times and later my pain eased. I got down from the bed and started to leave for dinner while he was laughing like a maniac.
"You will pay for it," I said loudly and left to join others.
We had a peaceful and fun dinner. He also joined later with his brothers and we finished afterwards and everyone started to leave.
