HIS POV

My family seemed complete. My mother and grandmother chit-chatting with their daughter-in-law was a very beautiful sight to witness.

She was glowing from where I could see her. I have been working hard the past few weeks since our business got back stronger and my wife has been very supportive of me. She would get up early if I needed her help and would stay late for me to be back home. She often made late-night coffee and snacks and gave me massages.

And not for once did she disturb or complain. No doubt she would have felt lonely sometimes but didn't react so. I knew I would have to pay back for it soon.

"Bhaisa it's been a few days, I think we should check on the head constable," Tejas said.

"Yeah, you're right. I was about to go there soon since our business is sorted pretty much." I said.

Since the kidnapping incident Tejas and I have been keeping a watch on Angad and his father. We would pay the senior inspector from time to time, for him to tell us the names of people who contact Angad. Meanwhile, we also kept monitoring Durgadas Rao's moves. However, the business kept us occupied and we haven't been on surveillance.

"Let's go tomorrow then." He suggested it and I agreed to it.

Reaching closer to our ladies we found an interesting topic being discussed. My mother was very excited about babies from a month or so ago. I heard her wish so, a couple of times.

"I'm going for the girl," we heard Tejas while he sat beside Sunaina.

Tejas was younger than me but had never been so carefree and outspoken in his life. But ever since Sunaina came into his life he seems socially active only around her. Not for once does he leave a chance to annoy or tease her.

"Well, then you leave me no choice. Boy, it is." I said sitting beside my better half who was beyond shocked hearing me.

The ladies laughed and I'm pretty sure my wife's thinking of ways to beat the shit out of me.

But I could tease her.

"Looking at their husbands it's going to be anytime soon," Maa-sa said while laughing with Dadisa.

I chuckled mentally looking at their excitement. My mother and grandmother left inside while laughing and suddenly she stood up to leave.

I held her wrist and pulled her back to sit.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

After so long I had gotten some time to spend with her and she wanted to leave.

"Maasa would be needing me for work," she said.

"Shadi humse kari hai ya maa se?" I asked pulling her to my side.

(You married me or my mother?)

She immediately pushed back realising we were not alone.

"Ab samay mila hai aapko humse baat karne ka? Itne din kahan the?" she complained while serving me tea.

(Now you have got time to talk to me? Where were you all these days.)

"I'm sorry I was busy with work since we received a partnership for our business. It has been hectic these days," I apologized.

"Bhaisa, is there any trick for twins," We heard Tejas.

(Brother)

I chuckled knowing he was not planning to cease the tease.

The next moment I heard Samrit.

"Daksh, I need to talk to you," he said.

He said in a serious tone with his hands in his pocket.
